Wer in der Provence einen Ort zum Entspannen und eine Basis für tolle Ausflüge sucht hat ihn in La Roque Alric bei Valeria und John gefunden. Ihr B& B Mas de Garabelle ist ein wunderschöner Platz zum Relaxen oder tolle Touren in der Gegend zu starten. Val und John sind aufmerksame, herzensgute, großartige Gastgeber. John‘s Kochkünste sind exzellent. Die Zimmer sauber und gemütlich. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder. ❤️????Leila und René

Unser Aufenthalt im Mas de Carabelle in La Roque-Alric war für uns unglaublich schön. Valeria und John sind super nette Gastgeber. Unser Essen war fantastisch, die Zimmer sind liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt.

Mas de Carabelle for us was a great find. It is a lovely place run by two wonderful people in what feels like a very remote location. Rooms are impeccably clean and spacious, breakfast all you could wish for and the occasional dinner a very nice way to interact with other guests and of course the hosts.

You are in the middle of the woods and vineyards and can start your hike from the front door. The same goes for cycling with many beauiful routes to choose from outside of going up Mt Ventoux. Their dog Nena is a gem and so very sweet.

We have already planned to go back next year.

I spent a magical week at Mas de Carabelle. What photos can't possibly capture is the unforgettable experience that Val and John bring once you've booked their bed and breakfast. The b&b is charming, clean and well priced. But what I found to be most special about this place in particular is the incredible couple running it. Val and John invite guests to share in the social happenings in town and the neighboring towns. While there, I joined a fete at a winery (with massages) and a violin concert up in the mountains. You just don't get that when you go to a hotel. How much or how little you'd like to engage is, of course, entirely up to you. I balanced days with work and walks in the beautiful countryside & nights immersed in the local culture. Val and John are living their dream, and it's infectious. This once-in-a-lifetime kinda trip has turned into a when can I get back? P.S. John's cooking is not to be missed.
