Words cannot describe my experience and the forever memories of my stay with Val and John at Mas de Carabelle. The rooms were impeccable and the warmth and hospitality from John and Val was just incredible. Amazing views, hiking trails, sunsets and evening gatherings by their pool. Breakfast was always delicious, with variety of croissants, homemade jams, granola and quick breads. Dinner creations from Chef John were as good as you will find in any high quality restaurant in any major city around the world. Thank you Val and John for an incredible stay, I can’t wait to come back.

Our stay at Mas de Carabelle was nothing short of spectacular. Val and John have created a truly beautiful and welcoming B&B in the heart of Provence, set amidst stunning scenery that feels like a true escape. The accommodations were perfect, blending charm and comfort seamlessly.
One of the highlights was John's culinary talent— we enjoyed a delicious and thoughtful birthday dinner and wine pairing showcasing local flavors in a way that made each bite memorable. Breakfast was something we eagerly anticipated every morning, and I’m still dreaming of the granola and fruit salad that started our day off perfectly.
What made our experience even more special was Val and John’s deep knowledge of the area. They were open and generous with their time, answering our many questions and sharing insights about Provence's history, culture, and hidden gems. Thanks to them, we left not only feeling rested and rejuvenated but also with a richer appreciation for the beauty and depth of Provence. Highly recommend!

What a marvelous time our group had at Mas de Carabelle! Val and John are consummate hosts. They were so adept at anticipating our wishes: from the perfect pairing dinner that John prepared our first night there, to their recommendations for shopping, hiking and restaurants nearby, we were so impressed. The rooms were lovely - so clean, fresh, well-lit and with comfortable linens. Breakfast each day was tasty and filling,
with fresh-baked breads and house-made granola. The town of La Rocque-Alric is a tiny jewel in the countryside - there’s not a bad view from Mas de Carabelle. Val and John’s joy in sharing their beautiful home is palpable and I can’t wait to go back!!

Ein Ort zum träumen, ein Ort zum entspannen, ein Ort zum schlemmen ; die nettesten Gastgeber aller Zeiten mit fantastischen und liebevoll zubereiteten Speisen , die ihr zu Hause mit der Welt teilen ; da kann man sich nur wohlfühlen! Danke ! Die Zimmer allesamt sehr stilvoll ; plus eine wunderschöne Natur , ein echter Geheimtipp !!!

Nous avons passé un week-end exceptionnel au Mas Carabelle avec mon conjoint, et nous tenions à remercier John et Valérie pour leur accueil si chaleureux et sincère.
Pour nous, c’est la définition du nouveau luxe : tout y était, aussi bien sur le plan matériel qu'immatériel. Le premier soir, nous avons eu la chance de dîner à leur table d’hôte, où John, ancien chef, nous a régalés avec un dîner incroyable, accompagné d’un accord mets et vins parfait. Pendant ce temps, Valérie, véritable maîtresse de maison, nous a enveloppés de sa chaleur et de sa gentillesse. Échanger avec eux pendant le repas a rendu cette expérience encore plus précieuse.
Tout était super, rien à redire ! Nous espérons vraiment revenir un jour pour un nouveau week-end et échapper à la routine. Merci mille fois pour ce moment inoubliable.
