Every summer we visit the Luberon Valley from New York City and Le Carillon in Goult has become one of our favorite places for a excellent lunch. We have now eaten there four times.

We usually order the lunch pre-fix menu, but since there are always more things we want to try, we end up adding a few extra dishes to share. The foie gras is a standout and not to be missed. This year, the lunch menu included a delicious beef carpaccio and a perfectly cooked fish, think it was a dorade.

The restaurant is family-run and you can tell they take great pride in what they do. The service is warm and helpful, which makes the experience truly special.

We will definitely be back next year.

Our favourite restaurant in the area. But you really need to book a couple of months in advance for summer. A beautiful location on the main square in Goult, absolutely top service with great wine recommendations every time, and the food .... fabulous!!!

Gezellig ambiance, prachtige lunch en dinnergerechten met de smaak van de provence. Ontzettend vriendelijke gastvrouw die met liefde en toewijding uitleg geeft over de feestelijke gerechten. Zo blij dat het weer gelukt is om er te lunchen, Reserveringen ruim van te voren noodzakelijk, uitgeboekt voor de komende weken!

Je ne connaissais pas votre restaurant, j'ai passé un très bon moment dans votre établissement.

Une très bonne cuisine et une belle présentation, une ambiance convivial et un bon accueil chaleureux pour un repas entre amis sur la terrasse.
Ont peut faire une déambulation dans le jolie village de goult et monté jusqu'au moulin en haut du village avec une jolie vue sur les environs.

Jeweils kurz nach der Öffnung sind wir sehr freundlich fragen gegangen, ob es einen Tisch für uns zum Essen frei wäre.
Obwohl es im ganzen Resto (auf der Terrasse und drinnen) nur ein Paar sass, wurde es uns gesagt, es sei „komplett“.
Mussten dann halt woanders essen, auf dem Rückweg sahen wir aber, dass nur die Hälfte der Terrasse leer war.

Sehr enttäuschend…
Scheinbar keine grosse Liebe zu den „nicht Franzosen“. :(((

Kurz nach der Öffnung gingen wir zum Restaurant und fragten nach einem Tisch. Wir hatten nicht reserviert und wurden kühl von der Dame abgewiesen. Gleichzeitig sahen wir auf der Terasse 2 nicht eingedeckte Tische. Wenn man ausgebucht ist, sind auch alle Tische eingedeckt.
Nachdem wir gegenüber gegessen haben, stellten wir fest, dass an einem der vorher nicht eingedeckten Tische 3 Personen am Essen waren. Ein Tisch war immer noch frei.
Für uns war das nicht möglich. So etwas haben wir noch nicht erlebt. Wir haben überlegt ob deutsche Gäste hier wenig willkommen sind.

Nous sommes venus sans réserver et par chance il restait 2 places en terrasse.
Accueil top et professionnel, cuisine excellente, choix des produits au top avec toujours une touche provençale et tout ça à un prix « normal »… Bravo ! Continuez !

This is one of our favorite restaurants. Everything is delicious, but the foie gras and beef filet were amazing! The wine Madame chose for us was also excellent. You can relax while looking at the village of Goult and the Madame is a warm and cozy restaurant.

We showed up at 7:15 on a March evening with no reservation. I don't think this would work well in busier times, but we were very warmly welcomed. The service was truly excellent -- friendly, helpful, attentive. The food was very good and the atmosphere lovely. Highly recommend Le Carillon!

We had a wonderful experience at Le Carillon. We were welcomed with our 2 children (ages 7 and 4) on a late reservation despite being nervous to take them in such a refined restaurant. The service, food and wine was excellent and they even went out of their way to make sure that the kids were taken care of. An all around wonderful experience with great hospitality.
