I left after having looked and asked my adult family of 4 to come and join me to make a future booking of this splendid restaurant.
Once again within 3 minutes I reentered and patiently waited for the waitress to approach me as I could see they were busy.
The waitress eventually came over and said “ yes” as if to say what do you want, I asked would it be possible to make a booking please?
She replied the earliest booking would be the 19th of September, nearly 3 weeks away!!
I said thank you and left.
I must admit I was very surprised as to her not offering to take my details for any possible future cancellations from other patrons or showing any kind of friendly apology.
I’m thankful of the neighbouring restaurants for being ever so welcoming and accommodating, not for one visit but for few visits over our 10 day stay in beautiful Gault ????
