This is a really rare and charming hotel that fits perfectly in its catefully and beautifully maintained environment. The patio is iconic. You can feel the loving care and hard work that has crafted this family owned hotel for over 60 years.||There are lmany nice design touches, art work, wall paper, statuarty, that evidences continuing efforts to maintain or upgrade.||Wr really appreciated the bright lighting in the bathroom, which seems to be rare in France. But not everything is perfect. The two ship cabin size sinks in the bathroom are too close together and with the spouts in the middle guarantee water everywhere. So too the somewhat jury rigged shower head in a tub without a shower curtain. The beds are a bit soft. A few of the chairs in our room were so low, even children would have a hard time using them.||The restaurant is a big plus, as is the hard orking and personable family staff. A lot of hard work has created a distinct and peacefull hotel in the heart of wine country.||PArking is down a hill, a geographical necessity. There is handicapped parking up the hill. Fine in good weather. A bit of a challenge in the rain.

Nous avons apprecie cet establishment familial des le debut. L equips est la et combat son metier. Les saveurs des plays et leur creativite etaient parfaites. Les lits sont excellents. Calme et serenite en font un lieu de choix pour randonner rouler ou rien faire

Nous avons eu le plaisir de manger dans le restaurant, sans séjourner à l’hôtel.
Le restaurant est très élégant, et décoré avec goût et caractère.
Les plats étaient copieux et délicieux, avec des combinaisons originales dignes d’un restaurant gourmet . Le tris d’entrées (et en particulier le carpaccio) était sublime.
En plus, l’équipe est attentive sans être envahissante , extrêmement gentille et décontractée.
Pour résumer, simplement parfait !

Wow! Merci Thierry, Hugo, family and rest of the team! My wife and I had a fantastic 5 day stay at this family hotel in Gigondas. It was our highlight of a 2 week trip including Nice, Avignon and Paris. Very French and local clientele which I think is a very good sign. I speak only a petit peu de Francais but we got by wonderfully with the whole staff. Some staff speak very little English but ce n'est pas un problem. Walks to the town for sightseeing and lunch/winetasting were awesome. Hiked thru the Dentelles to Domaine de Cabasse for winetasting. Amazing scenery thru the Col de Cayron and great workout. The Cotes du Rhone driving loop was incredible. So many hilltop villages. Cool Roman ruins in Vaison de la Romaine. Somehow couldn't fit in the Mont Ventoux loop but hard to do everything. Can't wait to go back.
