Absolutely excellent in all respects, brilliant staff, perfectly situated with beautiful views of the Sorgue and the surrounding trees and wildlife. Fantastic outside terraces, perfect swimming pool, amazing breakfast and the restaurant is superb too. We didn’t want to leave.

Il y a des lieux où l’on se dit en partant « c’était bien mais pas certain qu’on revienne.. » D’autres où c’était moyen, moyen voire passable … genre « peut vraiment mieux faire.. »|Et puis , il y a l’endroit qui tombe à pic, l’endroit qu’il te fallait, qui semblait fait pour toi à cet instant là … la rencontre où tu te dis : «. là, c’est sûr on reviendra … » ||L’hôtel du poète.. Bon déjà le nom !!!||Et puis la première impression, le premier sourire, le premier regard, le premier mot , la première intonation BIENVENUE ! Pas bredouillé mais affiché, revendiqué du style « On est là pour bien s’occuper de vous … »||La suite sera à l’avenant dans une ambiance feutrée, un service impeccable de la réception au resto bistronomique où l’on s’est régalé. Pas une seule fausse note, comme un savoir faire, une devise, un art de vivre… Comme si ce cadre enchanteur donnait le ton, comme si tout était au diapason … ||En fait, cet hôtel n’est pas un hôtel.. |Niché au pied d’une falaise à Fontaines de Vaucluse, traversé de part en part par deux bras de la Sorgue, deux sources d’infinie fraîcheur, cet imposant bâtiment est comme un îlot hors du temps, un havre de paix.. ||Et puis, quand on passe deux jours entre la place de la sieste et celle de l’apéro c’est déjà un joli chemin, un joli moyen pour se sentir bien … ||En fait cet hôtel n’est pas un hôtel, c’est une rencontre, des rencontres. Merci pour ce moment, ces moments … « Là, c’est sûr on reviendra … »

Kleines, mit viel Liebe geführtes Hotel mit toller Lage am Wasser. Leider hat das Zimmer unsere Erwartung nicht erfüllt. Da wir sehr kurzfristig gebucht haben war klar, dass es keine anderen Zimmer mehr frei waren.

My Wife and daughter visited here during the week of June 20th. Service/location/accommodations were exemplary. The idea of this vacation was to unpack once then travel to other locations as day trips. We were able to quite easily navigate to Gordes, The Abbey, Orange, Avignon with no issues. We should have stayed longer -then we could have gone to the corkscrew museum. :) At the end of the day we travelled back late afternoon to the hotel and enjoyed the spa/pool/sun nap or whatever. Hotel staff were freindly patient to these jet lagged Americans and pretty much met every question or need perfectly. Hotel Breakfast was varied, delicious and quite filling. Dinners were 4 star....there are eating options in town if you wish to mix it up. We'll be back :).
