The hotel is beautiful and newly renovated, featuring traditional Provençal architecture. There are two large outdoor swimming pools, and the grounds are filled with flowers and lavender. The restaurant is excellent, and the service is also outstanding.

The rooms and experience are not close to 5 star quality. Our rooms were tiny and had little natural light. They were run down and a bit dirty with insects. The staff closed the window shutters at night making our rooms even darker. The property is fairly large and our rooms were the furthest from everything. The pathways are really dusty so the walks to and from in the heat were unpleasant. There is little thought into the guest experience. This property is expensive and not worth the money.

My wife and I enjoyed 3 nights at Capelongue, in Bonnieux, France. Lovely hotel, and excellent service. We didn't dine at the Michelin restaurant, but I'm sure it must be good. We did have dinner, twice, at le Bergerie, and it was excellent. We also did a private wine tasting with the MIchelin Chef, Tomas, and that was fantastic! It's an easy stroll into Bonnieux, which I highly recommend; very cute town, and nice little shops. They also have a brand new padel court, and we met another couple, and played padel twice while we were there. Very fun. We also took advantage of their spa facilities, and the massages were excellent. Great hotel, in great part of Provence. Highly recommend.

I recently attended the Capelongue Spa as a surprise for my fiancée following our engagement in Provence. As soon as we arrived, we received a warm welcome from the spa staff and were provided a complimentary glass of fruit tea before the treatment process was explained. In the weeks prior, I had contacted the hotel via email requesting that flowers were arranged as an additional surprise for my fiancée. All communications with the hotel staff were polite, quick and simple. As requested, the flowers were presented in the treatment room which was very well received. The facilities within the hotel were outstanding. The treatment was superb and their staff went above and beyond to make the experience as special as I hoped it would be. The experience is one that we will not forget and one that we will look to relive on our next trip back to Provence. Thank you
