Hotel is only about two blocks from the TGV Centre station. Patrice the owner is welcoming and helpful. But do be prepared to carry your luggage up the spiral staircase; there is no lift. Bed is comfortable and linens are nice. Room decor is okay but perhaps the framed art on the walls could be improved.

Hotel Colbert is wonderful. Spacious and clean rooms, location perfect. No elevator is the negative I would not for people with mobility issues otherwise everything was perfect. The Hotel Dog Bunny was so sweet!

The owner Patrice and his little dog Bonnie were delightful, kind and helpful. The hotel is on a quite pedestrian street, clean, well attended. Patrice has made it feel like a home. The launderette on the corner was great and restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay here again.

L'hôtel est très bien situé, à quelques minutes de la gare et des monuments à pied. Il est situé dans une rue calme, la literie est confortable et le propriétaire est très sympathique et arrangeant !||Pour les chambres : j'ai séjourné 2 nuits dans une chambre solo en rez de chaussé donnant sur la cour intérieur. C'était très calme, agréable et propre. Point bonus pour les personnes allergiques aux acariens, il n'y a pas de moquette !||C'est une bonne adresse pour un séjour à Avignon et j'y retournerai avec plaisir.

Magic place near to all monuments. The hotel has very comfortable rooms and very friendly staff. I recommended it without ant doubt.

A simple, clean room in an excellent location to explore the ancient city. Our host was informative and engaging, and breakfast was excellent, with the offer of even more, had we been hungrier. Close to good restaurants, shops, and of course the exploration of the inner ancient city, it was also remarkably quiet. I loved the film and art posters with which it is decorated.

Accueil sympathique dans cet hôtel simple mais chaleureux et de bon confort. Bon rapport qualité prix, chambre agréable et très propre. Bonne literie. Seul bémol : une douche plutôt étroite pour les grands gabarits. L’hôtel est décoré avec soin dans le thème du théâtre. Excellente situation en plein centre de la vieille ville. Je recommande.

Charming, unpretentious, and art-forward hotel with fantastic service in a semi-secluded area of old Avignon. Patrice was very helpful with places to go and things to do. Optional breakfast is a good deal, too.

Comfortable compact hotel well managed by the onsite manager who provides great advice and assistance. Very well sound proofed. Perfect base to step out the door for eating places and 15 min walk to any of the sites of this exciting town.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Le Colbert. Very friendly and helpful host. A happy dog greeted us each morning during breakfast. The location is perfect. So quiet, but so close to the city center and the train station. Fantastic collection of art displayed throughout the hotel.

Great choice for a small hotel, centrally located but quiet. Within easy walking distance of all Avignon’s attractions and only 5 minutes from the railway station.|Patrick is a charming and considerate host, who recommended local places to eat and made a reservation for us at an out of town restaurant. Check in was simple. Merci beaucoup!

This is the best value hotel in the best location! You’re close to everything without being on a main road and you’re steps away from some fabulous restaurants in hidden alleys and squares.
The hosts do everything they can to make you comfortable and you must listen to their restaurant recommendations as they are spot on. Breakfast is plentiful and excellent value too!
We were here for four nights in a big room that had everything we needed and was quite spacious.

I stayed a couple of nights at this very small 2-star hotel, probably best described as cozy. The hotel's location is its chief saving grace because it's quite central without it being on a main road. Not only is the hotel small, but everything in it matches its size. My room was tiny. The bathroom was even smaller, rendering it almost impractical. I had trouble getting in and out of the shower. If you want to spend any time in your room other than to sleep, or if you suffer from claustrophobia, Le Colbert isn't a good match. By the way, these tiny rooms don't come cheap.

Margaux et Patrice accueillent leurs hôtes avec chaleur et professionnalisme. Nous séjournons à l'hôtel Colbert pendant le festival, depuis de nombreuses années, et c'est toujours avec un grand plaisir que nous retrouvons ce confortable établissement, et leurs propriétaires.

This is a great little hotel in Avignon. I booked only one night in advance as I decided to extend my stay in Avignon and my former hotel had no availability. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the woman at the front desk spent a long time explaining everything about the hotel and the room to me. I was in a small room off the courtyard of the hotel with a skylight, and everything was very serviceable and well-equipped. The hotel is close to the train station, and it’s only a short walk to sites like the Palais des Papes but it’s very quiet. I would highly recommend staying here.

Negativ: Frühstück nur abgepackte Sachen, daher viel Müll, Kaffee nicht gut, für eine Kanne Tee nur einen Teebeutel. Man bekommt es gebracht, kann sich selbst nichts aussuchen.
Fahrräder muss man bis 19 Uhr ins Hotel bringen, da der Besitzer dann geht und man die Räder nicht in den Raum bringen kann, das ist unpraktisch und kostet noch 3€ pro Rad und Tag. Parkhaus in der Nähe sehr teuer (ca. 25€ pro Tag). Es gibt keinen Aufzug im Hotel. (Koffer sebst nach oben tragen). Zimmer okay, Bad eng und Schimmel an der Dusche. Preis - Leistung stimmt hier nicht.
