Dit hotel met restaurant heeft de gloriejaren lang geleden achter zich gelaten. Je verwacht voor 57 euro geen luxe maar dit is echt te weinig.

It was normal, nothing bad and nothing exceptional. People who work there were very nice
I liked the area as hostel is located in a nature with a lot of trees and a river near by. It was a good air to breathe
Room was clean and common space too
They had a friendly cat ( I would put another star for it)

We stayed for one Night and cancelled another planned night a week after that. The owner doesn't take any criticism, as you can see at all the other ratings. If you say "none of the toiletts worked, the shower floodes the room" etc. she will say, that you should have aked for help (at 9 p.m.). But we didn't want luxurious room service, those are the 3 basic things a Motel should provide without asking a staff memeber: sleeping, taking a shower, using the toilett. Above from that, it really is above any human hygienic standard. Everything is dusty and/or dirty. We were a group of scouts, so we really didn't expect a 5 star hotel stying there. But the Auberge Bagatelle is really that disgusting, we were thinking of sleeping in the car or just outside in sleeping bags. Another thing was, that the heater was on full power mode in April, so the room had like 28° inside. Therefore we had to open the window the whole night. Which means you can hear all the mashines on the roof extra loud while trying to sleep.
On top of that, the owner will write you rage Answers on your rating, that she was sooo nice to give us the money back for the night one week from that, which we cancelled (yes, the night we did NOT want to sleep there anymore. We didn't want money back for the one sleepless disaster night we stayed there).
DO NOT BOOK A ROOM HERE!
Edit: of course we did turn the heating off. But it was too hot to cool down in just one night.
