What an amazing find just one block off of the Clock Square (where they’re all touristy options)! So first, they have a great little patio where we were met by the friendliest staff. Quiet street too. The food…wow, just amazing. Our best meal in France yet and likely right up there period!!! My wife had the salmon and I had the steak and potatoes which had a fantastic jus. Then the chocolate molten dessert was simply decadent! Too bad we weren’t staying in Avignon or we’d definitely go back and try their gnocchi. So glad we stumbled on this place, oh, and locals were eating here too which is a really good sign.

Toller Ort, um einen schönen Abend zu verbringen. Die Forelle und die Folie Gras als Vorspeise waren super. Die Tagesgerichte wechseln. Als Nachtisch war die Riesenmacaron mit roten Früchten eine Wucht. Wir werden bestimmt wieder kommen.

Food ok, pleasant place, nothing special

We phoned to make a booking but there was no reply. But they phoned back - plus point for that. Starter was excellent but then 30 minute wait for the main course. The meat was fie but the potato puree ranged from luke warm to cold. The single banana shallot was just cold. Then another 30 minute wait for the desert. When that arrived, we asked for the bill. Waited another 15 minutes for that so went to the bar to pay - we were already late for anther appointment. The person at the till was entering a series of chits into the register while we waited, obviously wanting to pay. I can't say the waiting staff was idle, far from it. It looked like one person was trying to service every table on his own. But it was far from a relaxing experience. If you have all night, by all means go, but I'd suggest you order something cold.
