Villa Dune – Saint-Tropez
⭐️⭐️ (2 out of 5 stars)
Unfortunately, Villa Dune did not live up to expectations. While it’s advertised as a luxury resort, it felt more like a three-star property at best.
The reception and welcome were cold—our hostess didn’t seem engaged or particularly interested in ensuring a smooth stay. The rooms were dark, outdated, and poorly maintained, with visible mould in the shower—a clear sign of neglect. The air conditioning outside of our room was virtually non-existent, making the lobby and enclosed areas uncomfortably hot, especially during peak summer heat.
To be fair, the spa area was one of the few highlights. The jacuzzis were relaxing and well-kept, which offered some reprieve from the heat. But even that wasn’t enough to outweigh the overall disappointment.
What really pushed it over the edge was the poor service. We were misinformed by the receptionist about not needing reservations for a popular beach club. When we arrived, we were laughed at and told reservations were absolutely required. No help was offered to resolve the situation, and we were left scrambling to figure it out ourselves—not what you expect on vacation.
For the price, there are definitely better options in Saint-Tropez. Villa Dune is overrated and doesn’t deliver on what is advertised. Sadly, I wouldn’t return or recommend this hotel.

J’ai passé un excellent séjour dans cet hôtel ! Tout était au top : la chambre était très confortable, d’une propreté irréprochable, et parfaitement équipée. Mais ce qui fait vraiment la différence, c’est l’accueil. Le personnel est chaleureux, disponible et très professionnel. On se sent vraiment bien accueilli dès l’arrivée. Un grand merci pour ce séjour agréable, je recommande les yeux fermés !

En effet, la chambre était petite, sale.. des flacons de gel douche de client précédant étaient encore dans la douche ainsi qu’une étiquette de vêtement collée sur un mur.
Les transats extérieurs avaient des trous de cigarette, la piscine pleine de petites feuilles (provenant d’un arbre à proximité) et j’en passe..
C’était ma deuxième expérience à cet hôtel et la dernière!!! Service absolument à la hauteur du prix que l’on a payé.. je ne recommande pas.
