We stayed one night at La Figuière and had a lovely time. The staff was incredibly kind, the atmosphere peaceful and elegant, and the rooms were comfortable — while they could be slightly refreshed, they were absolutely fine for a relaxing stay. We also had lunch at the restaurant and really enjoyed the food — the chef was fun and engaging, adding to the charm of the experience.
The only downside was the breakfast, which unfortunately felt like an afterthought. Instead of a proper service or buffet, you have to order breakfast at the reception, and the prices felt quite unbalanced — for example, a cappuccino costs around €8–9, the same as an omelette. This setup basically forces you into the €21 breakfast deal, which included just one croissant, one small piece of bread, a tiny orange juice, and a cappuccino. At that price point, I'd personally rather have a proper lunch.
Several guests after us were visibly confused, walking into the restaurant only to be redirected to the front desk to place a breakfast order. A small, high-quality buffet with local or homemade options would make a world of difference and match the hotel’s otherwise lovely experience.
Overall, it’s a charming place with great service — just hope they reconsider the breakfast model!
