La bastiane, un petit paradis pour du bonheur en famille

We booked for 3 nights on the last leg of our great 5 weeks around france, how ever we got a call from home and had to return asap, we informed the site (24hrs notice) that we could only stay for 1 night, they tokd us to come to the office in the morning where they flatly refused to refund the remainder 2 nights. (Not that they were full anyway)
So let's talk about the park, it's full of mosquito's ???? people walking around covered in bites was a give away then at night it's impossible to sit out out with being bitten ..forget the candles and sprays it didn't make a difference. The pitches are rustic and seem unmanaged, ours had logs and branches covering it which I had to move in order to pitch up (basically in an un kept forest). Tje nearest sanitary block only had 2 showers which meant the ques from 4-7 were ridiculous, the other blocks are the other end of the park and again had ques where you waited about 30mins for a shower. The pool was very over crowded given its french summer hols, standing room only as its rammed, kids jumping off the life guards platform onto strangers trying to get past, although signs everywhere stating not to jump or dive, the life guards spend their time walking around flexing and flirting with all the 15yr old girls, they dont care about the pool safety. The service in the resturant is very slow and seems to be run by kids who dont know what they're doing. The only member of staff that seemed helpful was 'Alex' unfortunately the same can't be said for the rest of them. Ive visited numerous Yelloh villages and staff have been very accommodating but unfortunately not on this site. Im glad to say that I'll never be back here again and my advice is to avoid like the plague if you dont want to be covered in bites, jumped all over by random kids, want good service and a decent park whereby staff actually care.

And your response below sums it up.. you assumed that we had booked the wrong site because we turned up with a jet ski !!!! What you failed to understand was that I'd actually been in France for a month and spent most of which in a great site in the bay of St.Tropez (which ive done for the past 6yrs) and I know i use my ski, i was actually on my way back North following the visit to your "site" but the plan was todo it gradually until such time we had to unfortunately leave ahead of schedule for reasons I'm not willing to discuss.. yet again great customer service !!
