Sylvie is a wonderful hostess and her beautiful home is the perfect place from which to explore La Sainte Baume mountain, grotto, Cave of Eggs, and Chapelle de Pilon. You can walk to ask if those right from her house, and you can see the mountain from your room! The rooms are spacious and lovely and Sylvie is so kind and fun. Her dog Edouard is the sweetest and the breakfast is delicious! You must have a car to visit here and the shower is so hot with incredible water pressure. Great wifi. Huge parking area. Beautiful back deck and views, We loved the Maison Rouge and would absolutely return! Sylvie is a wonderful hostess!

Une adresse à recommander, l’accueil de la propriétaire est chaleureux et accueillant, la chambre est grande, propre et confortable.

Une mention spéciale pour le petit déjeuner avec la salade de fruits ???????????????? gorgés de vitamines, les yaourts de production Bio et du Var, et ce pain artisanal cuit au feu de bois qui donne un goût que nous avons adoré.

Bref … un petit déjeuner délicieux pour commencer la journée et découvrir la région.

Une délicieuse maison qui permet de faire l'ascension à proximité de la ste Baume. Grâce aux bons conseils nous réussissons un week-end parfait. Cette maison est très confortable, les chambres insonorisées et la literie de grande qualité. Le feu dans le beau poêle réconforte les marcheurs ! Merci Madame de votre accueil !

I absolutely loved my time at La Maison Rouge. The most gorgeous view from my very large bedroom with comfy bed. Sylvie was an amazing hostess and I absolutely feel in love with Edward. A beautiful place I hope to visit again one day.

I had a wonderful experience at La Maison Rouge. It was a beautiful home and location. Sylvie took such great care of us even driving out one morning to a local bakery to get us fresh bread when the power was out. Her breakfasts are the best. She even accommodated my vegan diet. Thank you Sylvie.

Sylvie was the perfect hostess, and I loved everything about her...smart, classy, French perfection! Her home is spacious and very inviting at the base of a mountain. I thoroughly enjoyed her classic French breakfasts, and having Edward, the dog, there made it all well rounded for myself. My only suggestion might be a better mattress on the twin bed in the end room, but I am admittedly fairly spoiled in my home country. Don't let that little thing deter you, though. It is a lovely and charming place to stay.

5 étoiles, mais elles en vaut des milliers ! Si le Paradis existe, et bien il est là, La Maison Rouge , un havre de paix, de zenitude ????. Une vue magnifique sur la Sainte Baume, des chambres spacieuses, tout y est réuni pour que l'on déconnecte pleinement du Quotidien du stress. La maîtresse de maison est un amour, elle vous chouchoute, des petits déjeuners de Rois, et sans oublier notre petit Édouard qui vérifie si nous avons bien terminé nos assiettes ????????nous reviendrons. Je recommande vivement ce Paradis sur terre ???? merci beaucoup ???? les Dromoiis ????

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub im Maison Rouge. Die Herzlichkeit und Freundlichkeit der lieben Menschen vor Ort sind etwas ganz besonderes. Die Ruhe in diesem Haus, die wunderschöne Natur und die nahegelegenden und zu empfehlenden Städte Cassis und Aix en Provence haben uns sehr begeistert.

Recently stayed at Maison Rouge with my husband on a trip to France. We stayed for several days and were with another couple with a car. It's important to note you really do need a car if traveling here as the nearest towns are a little ways away and that's where the food is! But the stay was very pleasant, relaxing, and the Maison Rouge is charming and welcoming. The breakfasts were lovely and the space is wonderful to spend time in. It was very chilly and rainy for several days of our stay so we didn't get to utilize the terrace much, but seems like a good place to spend time during warmer days. We did several hikes from the Maison Rouge and they are accessible from the property, or a short 3 min drive down the road. Our room was lovely and simple and the bathroom was clean and our room would stay pretty warm on the chilly days. The owners Sylvie and her son Johann are delightful and pleasant to talk with. Edward the dog is a lovely addition to the vibe as well and the cat is fun too. We had the place to ourselves for a night too and ate in the common space which felt homey. Very grateful for this quiet time with beautiful views of the Cave of Mary Magdalene and the forest behind. The quiet there is shocking at first and then so delightful it is hard to return to any kind of city after. Merci beaucoup for a beautiful experience!

Accueil très chaleureux malgré notre arrivée plus que tardive. Cadre magnifique en pleine nature. Chambre très spacieuse avec vue sur la terrasse et le paysage montagneux. Grand séjour qui invite à la détente.
Petit-déjeuner copieux. Madame veille à ce qu'on ne manque de rien. Encore merci ????
Je vous conseille la "Maison rouge" !

Accès par une route à lacets, attention aux personnes sensibles aux routes de montagne ! Se situe à une heure de route du circuit du Castellet.

A truly beautiful place to stay for every reason. The hosts, Sylvie, Johann, Edouard and The Cat could not be more laid back, gracious and accommodating. The building is extremely well-built, lovely to behold and spacious. The view is spectacular, facing toward the magnificent Ste Beaume Massif and The Holy Grotto. The setting could not be better, equi-distance to all sorts of things to visit along the Sea, to the South and quaint mountain villages to the North. Hiking to awake your senses and then a serene patio to relax on and just enjoy the amazing Swallows. Who could ask for more. A fantastic place to settle into for awhile!

Atienden dos personas, una señora no muy agradable: madame Silvia, y un joven encantador que nos hizo la estancia genial a mi amiga y a mí. No sé cómo se escriba su nombre, pero es algo así como "Joan". El lugar? Rodeado de naturaleza, lindo y tranquilo para quien solo desea salir a caminar, o a quien va en busca de los pasos de María Magdalena.
