Warning-scammers

My mother and I went to Collobrieres to drop off a package at the UPS point in the village. After yhe 1h drive we thought we would treat ourselves to a breakfast and coffee in this cute little village.
We went to Un Air de Rien which is bang in the middle of the main square, sat down. The waitress came and we asked her if they served breakfast type food, and told her even some bread and butter would be enough to go with our coffees. She told us they have some charcuterie board if we like. We're not really into charcuterie so we said we would prefer bread and butter, she said she would go check inside if they have any.
We thought if they don't have it, we will change coffee and go to one that serves food (or breakfast food).
Then her partner comes backwith our coffees, and we ask "what about the bread and butter?" And he's like "no we don't do that here". To which we tell him we were actually sat here for an answer from the waitress-all they had to do from the get go was they us no we only serve the ONE board. We then stand up and leave saying we want breakfast. The gentleman rightfully runs after us, and says he will call the police. We come back and say absolutely yes please call the police to which he looked somewhat scared-the establishment does not accept credit cards or cheques there might be some shady fiscal affairs going on not sure he wants the police nosing around. Anywho, he comes back in the kitchen VERY angry, cuts pieces of bread, and brings them out. He goes next door to buy some butter. He then goes and apologies to other customers in a very condescending way. We have our food, go to pay. He charged us €5,50 for the butter and said that was the price. Anyway we go check the price of the butter, obviously it was €1.80, we tell him he's a big fat liar before leaving to which he scoffs and says we should go back to Paris and they don't want any Parisians there-little does he know neither me or my mother come from Paris.
The service was absolutely appaling, I then went to read the reviews from previous customers and was absolutely nit surprised. They will absolutely try and sell you their board which is €25 per person without ever showing you the price or a menu. Huge scammers, and liars. Would not reccommend.

Au travers d'une balade.... Restau extra : ils proposent une planche bien originale pour deux, que des produits locaux ! Très très bon ! Avec un service nickel, très sympa.
