We were not here for the horses, but actually parked 50m before, to see the surrounding and flamingo’s that live there.
It’s an ok parking spot next to the road, just before Les cabanes de cacharel, with place for 4 to 5 cars. From here you can walk into the area, between the waters and fields and see the flamingos.

L'expérience a été exceptionnelle et je la recommande vivement, même aux débutants comme moi — c'était la première fois que je montais à cheval.
Le parcours était magnifique, à travers un paysage naturel splendide, avec des flamants roses et des chevaux en liberté.
C’était un moment inoubliable que je garderai toujours en mémoire.
Et imaginez : nous avons suivi simplement le circuit d’une heure !
Nous avons été accueillis immédiatement, sans réservation ni attente, et nous sommes partis tout de suite.

C’était un moment inoubliable que je garderai toujours en mémoire.

Safety first!!!!
Though Very pretty horses and pretty 2-hour route,
1. Safety measures definitely can be improved. The riders are given the helmet, but NO chest protector
2. My 8-year old son fell off the horse: He rides a horse on his own and does not speak much English. There was a small step up; the horse took the wrong route and tried to jump up. The horse lost one step and fell on my son's body. It was one of the most horrible scenes I have ever seen. I was frozen for a while as I had no clue what to do, while my son was crying extremely loud. Luckily no bones were broken. An afterthought is that the trainer could be a bit more patient and more dedicated to the safety measures, maybe watching around in those tricky places especially when there are kids in the team, even though the horses are well trained.
3. Very limited English. One trainer speaks very well, and he showed us what to do with the horse in the start. However during the journey, we had one trainer who does not speak much English. It means a lot of the introduction to the surroundings are in french and we are not able to understand anything
4. Only cash is acceptable

Balade de 2h très agréable. Le meilleur moyen de découvrir de superbes paysages. Alex notre guide était très compétente et rend la balade d’autant plus agréable. Elle parle également très bien anglais. Nous recommandons.
Et, franchement, c'était super +++
Je travaille avec des agriculteurs et ma fille vit dans un centre équestre autant dire que j'y allais pour la démonstration de tri du betail, en me disant qu'on verrait pour le reste.
C'était une vraie bonne surprise. Pas du tout piège à touristes mais l'envie de présenter le métier, son histoire et sa pratique aujourd'hui
