马赛的MAC拥有永久收藏，与临时展览相得益彰。

经过几年急需的工作，MAC在2023年4月以新的面貌重新开放，让博物馆丰富的藏品再次得到展示。建筑物经过改造，有一个壮观的新大厅和一个300平方米的巨大屋顶，可以容纳500人。博物馆拥有2700平方米的展览空间，为1960年代至今的视觉和影像调查提供了广阔的棱镜。

It's free, so it's accessible in that sense.  But oppressive security (gallery staff reinforced by contract heavies, why?) militates against a relaxed, interactive experience. And the display itself does too, rather: Art with a capital A in long rows down a long series of rooms. Each room offers an arty-bollocks introduction:  'Matériaux', 'Sujets', 'Réalités/Fictions', which I found quite divorced from the surrounding art works. Still, there are a lot of impressive pieces; more history of contemporary than actual contemporary: the César compressed car, the Valley curtain, Jumping Rope by Jacquet (uncomfortably echoed by the busy mable floor - there is some clunky curating here, a fine 3D ceramic by - very contemporary - Ghada Amer huddled into 2D against a wall, labels often impossible to link to their target works). Anyway, well worth a visit, an easy bus ride from Rond Point du Prado métro, or park in the shopping centre across the road. Don't forget to stroll in the park behind - there is some good sculpture.

bien sympathique ce musée, avec des choses marrante et étrange.
domage que la sécurité vous agresse si par malheur vous vous retrouvez par erreur dans la zone payante non identifiée par des panneaux. apres, je comprend : ces panneaux pourraient être vu comme une oeuvre dart, etant donné que ce musée est sans être gratuit.

Jest tu kilka ciekawych dzieł sztuki. Zaskoczyło mnie, że muzeum ma w swojej kolekcji obraz Basquiata. Na kolekcję stałą wstęp jest bezpłatny. Obsługa jest przemiła, zwłaszcza Pani, która - jak się okazało - jest Polką i przy okazji poradziła nam, co jeszcze warto odwiedzić w Marsylii.

J'ai apprécié ce musée par rapport à l'aménagement et la circulation l'espace. Le choix des œuvres présentées est très éclectique. Je n'oublie pas la gratuité de l'entrée qui permet de donner la culture pour tous .
