I reserved a very nice looking room months prior to our arrival. When we arrived we were taken to a real dump of a room and the person who runs the place showed total indifference to the issue when I brought it up. He asked “is it a problem?”, insolently, as if it were eccentric to be upset with the bait and switch. Unfortunately, we were already there, the place next door was booked, and he’d already charged us, so we stayed in the swampy, mosquito infested dorm room. There are one or two nice rooms in the place and these are used to draw people in. But these hostel quality spaces may be provided to you instead. It’s a rather pathetic scam. Look at the other reviews. I wish that I had. A business only gets so many negative ones if they’re earned.

Le propriétaire est très charmant, respectueux, à l écoute, et même de bons conseils pour visiter les alentours
Une très bonne adresse typique au coeur d une nature encore préservée et qui reflète bien la Provence d antan et d aujourd'hui.
Merci pour ce dépaysement a deux pas du centre de Marseille et a deux pas des belles calanques de Marseille ..
Un excellent service, nous recommandons pour tous ceux et celles qui veulent se changer les idées et rechercher l authenticité.

Allez sans crainte à La Petite Calanque. Vous serez très bien accueillis par Christophe qui est aux petits soins pour vous faire plaisir et vous renseigner sur les adresses à visiter à Marseille.
Le quartier est très calme, on s'y gare sans aucun problème et une petite plage est à proximité.
Nous étions 2 copines en visite dans la ville et nous avons adoré notre séjour

A true local gem in the beautiful calanque region. The host was outstanding, the room original and very comfortable, and the location ideal to explore gorgeous neighbouring calanques. 10/10 recommended to those looking for a peaceful haven in the Marseille area!
