Easily the best food and dining experience of my life

This was, hands down, the best meal I have ever had. My wife and I went on our honeymoon very recently and were immediately charmed by the little courtyard in the back of the restaurant. We had, as an appetizer, a tomato and burrata "crumble" with pesto and basil, and we were told that it just got better from there, which was true. The crumble was excellent, so we had high expectations, and they were more than met. I had the roast park with potatoes and my wife had the chicken Wellington. I will probably spend the rest of my life trying to recreate the sauce that accompanied the chicken Wellington. It was like a marsala sauce but thicker and more flavorful. The staff described my pork as "like candy" and that was truth in advertising. So unbelievably flavorful and tender! For dessert, we had an apple and pear crumble that was magnificent. Flavorful, and perfectly balanced with a touch of salt. Loved chatting with the staff. This restaurant is an absolute MUST VISIT for anyone in Marseilles! I cannot recommend Le Grand Guste highly enough!

Il y avait un chef au GG autrefois. Aujourd’hui cela ne présente guère d’intérêt.

Un vrai bon restaurant ! Une belle carte, les produits sont bien travaillés et le service est efficace. Un grand merci pour l’accueil et pour le digestif à la fin qui va bien ???????? Nous reviendrons ????????
