"Je voulais absolument laisser un commentaire élogieux pour La Chola à Marseille, où j'ai eu la chance de dîner jeudi soir. Ce restaurant péruvien est une pure merveille. Ayant ma femme d'origine péruvienne, nous avions une certaine attente concernant l'authenticité et la qualité des saveurs, et La Chola a dépassé toutes nos espérances !
Dès l'entrée, l'ambiance nous a charmés : la décoration est magnifique, et les fresques murales transportent littéralement, créant une atmosphère unique. La musique live du groupe, avec la talentueuse chanteuse Marta Cancela, le rythme entraînant du cajón et les mélodies de la guitare, a ajouté une touche vraiment spéciale et inoubliable à notre soirée. Quant aux plats, ils sont à tomber : des saveurs inédites, des produits frais et une présentation soignée. Le personnel est aux petits soins, professionnel et très sympathique. C'est une expérience culinaire complète que je recommande vivement à tous ceux qui cherchent l'excellence et l'originalité."

Don’t go.
Unless you enjoy waiting two full hours for a tiny, overpriced plate, being served by a waiter who doesn’t bother to mention the kitchen is running behind, finding out the bathroom’s out of order, sweating in 30+ degrees without being offered even a glass of water, and having to pull out your own thermos just to stay hydrated.
You’ll leave hungrier and more disappointed than when you walked in.
The best part of going to La chola was the Brazilian musicians playing live music.
Go eat somewhere else.

We came in here wanting to love it but came away disappointed for two main reasons:
- 2 hour wait for the food (would have been understandable if they flagged it, or even gave us water without asking)
- Extremely small portions which, considering the price, felt like a rip off.
Food itself was tasty and the atmosphere was great, but I cannot recommend it.
The pizza slices I had to get around the corner did the trick, at least.
