We decided to share a charcuterie board as a starter. The selection of the different regional sausages was nice, although the bread that was served along with could have been of a better quality(e.g. a nice baguette).
The dish of the day was cod that came with a corn puree and an excellent sauce. The fish was cooked on point, altogether a very good dish.
We also had flanksteak with potatoes, which was also cooked on point and quite tender.
For sweet dessert we ordered a Madeleine with homemade strawberry-rhubarb ice cream. The Madeleine was ok, maybe a bit dry, however the ice cream was creamy and tasted very well.
We finished with a selection of cheeses, consisting of 2 goat cheeses, 1 cheese from cow's milk, and 1 moderately smoked cheese. The cheeses were all rather mild and paired nicely with the homemade fig jam.
The service was very friendly, competent, and multilingual.
Altogether reasonably priced food and wines. We can highly recommend this place which has, in our opinion, "Bib Gourmand" potential!
Endroit cosy et chaleureux. Les assiettes de l'entrée jusqu'au dessert étaient excellentes. La petite carte témoigne du "fait maison" et de la qualité des produits, j'adore et je recommande à fond !
