L'absence de climatisation est mal renseignée sur votre site. Avec les fortes chaleurs, c'est un équipement indispensable.

Pas de climatisation, il y fait très chaud dans les chambres malgré le ventilateur

The area is a poor neighborhood, not far from the EuroMed skyscrapers and with old and new massive social housing buildings. There's a student residence next to the Aparthotel, so this is an attempt by the City Council to attract new people into the area, "mixité-social". You'll come and go by metro, so don't be too worried. Indeed, I didn't perceive the area as particularly unsafe (at least for French standards).
