Good service and wine. Food was not the best, nothing directly wrong with it but the flavors were not mixed together as good as they could be. Felt thrown together, a bit blend. I hope the restaurant puts more effort to combine textures and flavors so the fresh ingredients presents as good as they can.

Top quality cooking with great ingredients, a casual yet modern and inventive style and accompanied by interesting and delicious natural wines. A perfect lunch on a sunny day in Marseille with friendly, knowledgeable service with a personal feel. Helpfully open on a Monday too, which is ideal if you are spending a long weekend in Marseille.

yesterday we had dinner at La Mercerie to use the American Express dining credit abroad.
at first staff told us it was “reservation only” but then they let us sit down as long as we agreed to a surprise five course menu.
we ordered the house wine to go with it.
both, the menu and the wine, were very delicious.
the staff was very attentive and friendly.
in total, we paid €165 (€65 per menu) for two people.

We've spent 6 nights in Marseille in the last year, 3 of which have spent dining at La Mercerie, which should say enough - everything about this restaurant is fantastic - food, wine, people.
