Visited Ashoka on my own during the rugby World Cup. The menu is pretty limited with 10-12 different types of dish available with chicken lamb or veg. (That’s normally already a good sign). I had a lamb ghost madras with a masala naan. The naan was lovely and fresh and the curry was also delicious. The sauce was not as spicy as I would have liked but very full of flavor and the lamb was tender and tasty. I washed it down with a Kingfisher beer which is bottled rather than draft and could have been a bit colder. Service was quick and professional the meal came before I had chance to finish the complimentary dips which were served with some fried crispy things (they weren’t popadoms but similar) - dips were mint yoghurt, tamarind, and a spicy pickled masala one. For €22 all in with a beer it seems very reasonably priced too. Highly recommend.

Sehr sehr lecker! Die kostenlose Vorspeise war sehr gut und die Hauptspeise ausgezeichnet. Der Service war witzig unf zuvorkommend. Sehr zu empfehlen.

We enjoyed everything that we ordered - happy that there was vegan option! My only complaint is that we wanted to take the leftovers with us and we were told “no”.
