聪明的建议:在ibisbudgethotel.ibis.com网站上可以找到最优惠的价格。

Extremely rude front desk made me wait just to leave a key. Insane power trip this lady went on for a key drop. She followed me outside and cursed me out in the street. Absolutely insane!

Ibis budget pushed it this time. I understand it's budget but have some respect for your customers. I myself had worked in a few hotels (including Accor group too) and it just feels so disrespectful to experience such unkind staff in literally every Ibis hotel I've been to when that is the face of the place, the very first impression. Here the ladies were talking between eachother very loud, making jokes and laughing with people waiting to be attended to not knowing what they are laughing at either.
Another thing that struck us in this hotel is that it is advertised with this photo from an entrance that is actually closed....and it's only that bit of entrance that is historical so it seems like a bit of a catch obviously. The rest of the building has nothing to do with this one view there. The room....... oh my, like a garage, like sleeping in a can. We got to our floor, then had to walk outside to a little path leading to a few "garage" rooms outside. Nowhere was this mentioned in the room descriptions. The room itself was the tiniest I've been in, with a little window, the cold was coming in from everywhere. Luckily the aircon heated it up but it took quite a long time. The bathroom was ok, the cleanliness was luckily great too (thank you to all cleaning staff in all Ibis hotels we've been to - this and the breakfasts are always great), the inner pathway had windows of other rooms and it was loud, you could hear a lot. And last but not least, the description on booking says there is a cocktail bar in the hotel itself. It's not true. There is no bar, no coffee place either, only a couple of sad ve ding machines and honestly, the worst lobby I've experienced.
It's sad to see Accor is allowing for this in such numerous locations (budget and not - Berlin, Łódź, Marsaille x2, Poznań; Stuttgart I think was my best experience). And mind me, we understand what budget means and that's on us and we don't expect luxury, but having clear and honest descriptions and photos, as well as taking care of staff to keep up their level of service is an absolute standard in every hotel that respects their guests.
The one star is for the location - really great for sightseeing, the best thing about this hotel and for the cleaning staff as that is actually usually top notch level.
