What a delight this was. Not fancy or flash - just stunning. We booked to visit the gardens (easily done on line and promptly responded to by Bruno) in the morning and cycled over. Fascinating insight to the gardens and how these amazing houses were created. Good information to help you walk round. We were free to potter and admire the bassin, the pigeonniers, the splendid architecture, the kitchen garden, orangery and the stunning cactus collection. Hope to come back for a concert in the future. If you’re passing - don’t just go by - pay a visit

During your visit, prepare to be wowed by the beautiful cactus garden, the main county yard, several gardens, a natural pool and an animal husbandry section.
There is so much history to unearth during your visit. The architecture is truly unique and perfectly captures the 17th century Florentine era.
When I next visit I would love to spend a few nights staying at the Château to get the full experience.
