HOTEL LA ROTONDE ^{* * *}

Très bel hôtel extrêmement bien situé dans La Ciotat.
Le personnel est accueillant, bienveillant et compétant ! La chambre était propre et identique aux photos (avec clim efficace !)
Le choix de petit déjeuner nous a amplement suffit à ma conjointe et moi-même.
On a passé un super séjour, merci beaucoup !

Au début nous étions plutôt content. Suffisant pour une nuit. Jusqu’au moment où on a dû se garer. |« Parking » annoncé. Uniquement 5 places, très étroites. |Rentré à 21h après un restaurant, plus de place. |Le mec de l’hôtel nous dit d’aller nous garer toute la nuit dans le parking souterrain de la ville juste en face. 15€ la nuit de parking. |Pardon ? |Déjà pour 1h30 de parking pour la calanque on a payé 20€, ensuite on a dû payer 15€ de parking pour la nuit ? |A savoir nous aurions choisi un tire hôtel, plus cher mais avec un VRAI parking.

Struttura ben posizionata. E' facile raggiungere tutto anche a piedi. Le camere sono comfortevoli anche se non grandissime. La colazione è un po' basic ma comunqueu soddisfacenti. Il parcheggio privato è piccolo; ne esiste un altro convenzionato praticamente di fronte. Ottima accoglienza...un ringraziamento particolare a Anthony

NO PARKING. AND NOBODY AT THE LOBBY DESK AFTER 8 P.M. And if you are even 5 minutes late, nobody at the desk. And when you call the emergency number, nobody speaks English. Wonder how I am supposed to know what my room number and where my keys are??? I have been sooo lucky so far with 1-3 star hotels in Europe since only thing I need is clean room and free parking. This hotel advertised on Expedia free parking. Unfortunately, they have only 5 spots for 30 (THIRTY) rooms. I had to park 10 minutes away and paid 20 euros, so it made it a price of other nicer hotel with bigger parking and a pool. It made no sense to me to stay in this small room with the rudest manager in a world for this money. I arrived at 8-45 p.m., tried to call an emergency number, but the voice on a phone was rather strange and only in French which I don't speak. With all my high school knowledge, I tried to communicate that I need a room number, the key, and parking spot how it was advertised on expedia. After 10 minutes of only " Oui" and " chambre" (nothing else really) , I finally hung up. I was about to leave to other hotel and then request ecpedia for the refund, as i saw approaching manager who was obviously very drunk and smelt like rum and who knows what... After another 20 minutes of vivid discussion, I finally found out a room number and where the key was. I asked the manager to compensate my parking since they advertised as free parking. He refused and had guts to ask for a tax, which I believe had to be revoked due to a very poor customer service. I gave 2 stars only because I appreciate a hard work of maides and other supportive staff; otherwise, this place deserves A STAR.
