DOMAINE DE LA PIERRE BLANCHE

Just spent 4 days in this beautiful hotel. The surroundings and amenities are exceptional as well as the view, food and location. The resort is nested in a peaceful and beautiful location next to the vineyards, located 5 mins driving from Eygalieres and 15 from Remy en Provence:m. You can tell immediately that the owners have done a brilliant job in creating the perfect atmosphere and have put an insane amount of effort and love in the concept they created (we recommend reading the small book they wrote on the hotel and the region). The staff - particularly the blonde guy whom checked us in and went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and taken care of and the ladies at the sunset bar - are all incredibly nice, polite and attentive. They made our stay phenomenal. The only flaw about this place is the manager of the restaurant (a brunette lady with glasses) - it’s quite uncommon to find such a rude and disrespectful person in the hospitality industry and especially in this type of luxury hotels: she constantly treated us with poor manners, she was very argumentative if we were 5mins late for breakfast, and overall we felt she was managing a prison rather than a relaxing, luxurious hotel. I made it very clear that I was not able to speak the language yet she kept talking to me in French with very aggressive manners and she made sure we knew, with her tone of voice and body language, we were bothering her with any simple request. On the last lunch we had at the hotel, right before leaving, she even slammed the bill on the table telling us to go pay at the reception, as we had already checked out. We hadn’t asked for the bill as we were planning to order more…
Never seen anyone in the hospitality industry with such an insulting and unprofessional attitude - at times we were even laughing because we thought it was a joke.

The hotel, location, surroundings and the rest of the staff, however, are so gorgeous and amazing that you quickly learn to ignore such a negative presence, which means that this hotel is truly heaven on earth, even in spite of this lady.

Very nice hotel and really good restaurant. The dessert was top notch.
Hotel very quiet with good spacious rooms, bathroom which is openly built 1m next to the bed is the only downside. Tennis court available, close to a lot of beautiful places. Definately eat here. Breakfast is wonderful to.
