Hôtel à proximité immédiate du port de Cassis et des restaurants et bars.

I chose the hotel due to its fabulous port side location. My requirement was to be directly on the port and for my room to have a balcony overlooking it. Le Golfe came up trumps on both fronts. The views are simply stunning and the hotel has a position as good as any in town. I loved my Harbour View Room which enjoyed lots of natural light and patio doors opening out to a little balcony, with room just enough for a chair & tiny table. It was such a joy to throw the doors open on a morning and soak up the insane beauty of Cassis. The bed was comfortable too. |These aspects aside, Le Golfe is nothing to write home about. Quite basic and low on frills, though to be fair, it doesn’t claim to be otherwise, and website photos were a true reflection. There is no fridge or kettle, and bathroom products are minimal. WiFi was faultless one day, a bit iffy the next. The hard flooring serves to amplify internal noise, particularly from the corridors, and harbour view rooms are subject to the vibrant soundtrack of port activity and nightlife. However, I had a wonderful stay and loved the hotel overall. Staff, both at reception and in the brasserie/bar were warm and friendly, which always adds to one’s affection for a place. Despite the noise, I would stay again, as the location is hard to beat. |That said, I wouldn’t have chosen the hotel if a Harbour View Room hadn’t been available.

Die Lage ist super, das Personal sehr nett. Das Zimmer ist klein, könnte verschönert werden. Die Bettdecke besteht aus einem Laken und einer braunen Wolldecke, das hat mir persönlich nicht gefallen.

Super accueil, emplacement parfait avec une vue à couper le souffle sur le port. Merci au chef on s'est régalé et merci au serveur, très sympa. Ca change de certain attrape-touriste de cassis...
