Hotel is very nice, interesting design changing between rooms, very good restaurant, and very friendly staff.
Swimming pool is very nice, especially when not too busy ! Rooms are very comfortable, however, few details could be updated to keep to the new standards.
Hotel is very close to the old city center, few steps to reach by foot.

Lieu d’exception. Service haut de gamme. Décoration soignée. Spa indispensable. Soirée guinguette vendredi samedi. Petit dej soigné avec de très très bons produits. Bref, prévoir d’y passer du temps.

Le cadre est très agréable et l’hôtel très bien placé mais … la douche de la piscine qui me fonctionne pas et du papier WC simple couche dans les chambres n’est pas signé d’un 5 étoiles. Sinon petit déjeuner sans omelettes ou sûres sans supplément… céleste pas top.

Интересный отель в здании бывшего монастыря.|По приезду долго просили на ресепшн поднять нас до полулюкса по статусу Diamond.|В итоге дошли до Bridgitе, которая сделала нам апгрейд со следующего дня, потому что на сегодня у них остался один полулюкс и они его берегут на случай, если «вдруг» приедет семья.|Впервые слышу такую формулировку.|Ну да ладно.|Очень сильно разочаровал персонал.|Пришли к бассейну-нет полотенцев и нет того, кто их выдает.|Потратил 10 минут, пока дошел до Спа, вызвал оттуда девушку, та кому-то позвонила и мы нашли склад полотенцев.|Пришли к бару, тоже никого.|Так у бара было все 3 раза, т.е. постоянно.|Надо постоянно ходить искать кого-то и звать.|Пришли в отель в 23.00, хотели взять в баре напиток.|На баре снова никого.|Нашли в пустом ресторане мужчину, который считал деньги и попросили обслужить нас, на что тот, грубо сказал, что все закрыто.|Мы утверждали, что время 23.00 и мы тут ждем уже пару минут.|Но он был дерзок и непреклонен.|Всюместо лояльности решил проучить нас как школьников.|23.00, значит все закрыто, до свидания.|Ттолько собственные амбиции.|И так во многих мелочах.|Это не 5*|Если бы было 4*, то и вопросов к сервису бы не возникло.|Рекомендую тем, кто хочет отель в историческом здании, но готов к компромису по сервису.|В отеле платная парковка 27€/сут., но прямо в 10 метрах от отеля все места бесплатны с 19 до 9 утра.|И никто из стаффа нам об этом не сказал.|В целом рекондую.

The staff always had a smile and were always happy to help. The location of the hotel made it so easy to see Arles. The hotel itself is so lovely and having a swimming pool located in the secluded gardens made it even more special. We always sat outside for breakfast and watched the world go by. Very at tentative staff at breakfast and a great menu choice too.

The hotel was great overall, good location, spacious. However, it is quite old, and there was one night where the whole hotel stopped water supply from 10pm onwards. It was a bit inconvenient.

The hotel truly is an eclectic mélange, a unique blend of history and character. Its name and exterior are distinctly Roman, immediately setting a grand tone, and the interior is stylized by Christian Lacroix, adding another layer of artistic flair. The building itself was once an ancient Carmelite convent.
The staff was incredibly friendly, greeted us with flavored water at check-in, and included a tour of the property when taking us to our room. We appreciated the many nice touches, such as complimentary refreshments and snacks in the minibar, and 'calissons' on our pillows at turndown. The pool area, while not quite matching the grandeur of the advertising photos, offered a pleasant spot for a refreshing dip. We appreciated the provided towel service, and it was still delightful to cool off before heading into town to visit nearby Arena, Theater and many spots painted by Van Gogh.

first room provided was dreadful, the perfumes/cleaning product was so overpowering I felt sick. 2nd room was shown grudgingly after I insisted on changing especially as I was staying for 4 nights. Had to pay for an upgrade for a very ordinary room with dreadful shower of bath which was quite dangerous. Reception professional but officious. Concierge and restaurant staff pleasant. saw some other deluxe rooms being cleaned so much better than what I was provided or offered.

Nous avons réservé uniquement au spa, spa vieillissant, les infrastructures sont cassées (douche du spa) le sauna était trop chaud et le hammam pas assez. Décevant compte tenu du niveau de l'hôtel.
En revanche, le personnel est adorable. L'espace thé time est agréable.

Maybe it deserves 5 stars but we were annoyed when we realised the hotel was part of the Accor group and we were not allowed to use my spouse’s membership to accrue points.|That said, we enjoyed the hotel very much and felt the service was remarkable. Saturday is market day in Arles, just out side the hotel. Vehicular traffic is not possible so the staff escorted us around the back and checked on us while we were waiting. Remarkable.|The restaurant food and service, room,wifi and bed were excellent and the hotel position next door to the tourist office was handy. The town itself is delightful.

Hôtel bien situé, cadre très sympathique, une décoration des salons toujours moderne malgré ses 10 ans déjà, côté chambre (318) c’est un peu plus ”ringard”. Le personnel de l’accueil et du bar manque un peu de professionnalisme, attention à la saison forte qui approche !

Magnifique, nous y avons passé un petit séjour extra , l'impression d'être des rois un accueil parfait et un personnel parfait tout petit hic nous avions un accès au spa sur 2 jours premier jours impeccable deuxième jours le jacuzzi a eu une fuite donc il été froid mais réactivité du personnel qui ont tout de suite pris notre remarque en compte . Après il est vrai que l'eau chaude peut être capricieuse mais le personnel si extraordinaire rattrape tout . Petit mention spéciale à nos masseuse car plus professionnel que ça sa n'existe pas . Encore merci

I recently stayed at Hotel Jules César in Arles and, while the presentation and location were commendable, the overall experience fell short of a 5-star rating. The staff was friendly, but the bathroom resembled a camping car, lacking hot water despite reported issues that seem to be longstanding. Despite notifying the staff, it appeared they were already aware based on reviews. Unfortunately, my misplaced phone charger was not addressed as expected from a higher-rated hotel. They did reimburse for parking, but improvements are needed for a truly exceptional stay. I'll be happy to share a video of the issue with the hotel if they would like to see it.
