Le cadre de l’Arlatan Harl est indéniablement superbe : le lieu est très beau, le design soigné, et la cour intérieure, calme et agréable, offre un vrai moment de quiétude. Malheureusement, l’expérience culinaire ne suit pas. Les portions sont très petites, la cuisine correcte mais loin d’être mémorable, et il n’y avait même pas de pain ce midi — un manquement étonnant à ce niveau de gamme, où l’on s’attendrait à ce qu’une solution soit trouvée. Le service est également en dessous : très lent, peu attentif. Il m’a fallu 40 minutes pour un seul plat, entre mon arrivée et mon départ, tant il était difficile d’attirer l’attention et d’être servi. En somme, une addition salée pour une prestation qui ne tient pas ses promesses. Un lieu à découvrir peut-être pour boire un verre dans un joli cadre, mais certainement pas pour y déjeuner.

L'Arlatan è un hotel di charme nel centro storico di Arles.
Un posto magico e unico nel suo genere. La ristrutturazione dell'antico palazzo, sede dell'Hotel, è stata affidata all'artista Jorge Pardo, di origine cubane, che ha realizzato l'intero progetto, curando sia l'arredo che i dettagli architettonici.
Staff gentilissimo, disponibile per ogni esigenza. L'albergo e situato nel centro storico ed è quindi necessario parcheggiare l'auto fuori le mura.
Stanza molto accogliente e pulita, con arredo dai colori vivaci ed un insieme raffinato.
Visto che si tratta di un edificio storico, non è stato possibile installare gli ascensori e ciò va tenuto presente per eventuali problematiche personali.
Colazione a buffet di buon livello.
Un bel cortile per un aperitivo o una cena romantica e un giardino con piscina per una pausa relax. Un posto perfetto per trascorrere qualche giorno in un ambiente originale ed affascinante.

An absolutely beautiful and inspiring hotel. Jorge Pardo’s artworks throughout the space are truly amazing — they made my stay feel like living inside a piece of art. The hotel was clean and very well maintained, and the staff were consistently kind, helpful, and professional. I spent three peaceful days here, and thanks to L’Arlatan, I was able to enjoy the artistic and tranquil atmosphere of Arles to the fullest. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Arles.

Overall a great experience. The hotel and the rooms are without a doubt beautiful and unique. The pool outside in this heat was also refreshing and nice. For improvement, I would suggest training the front desk staff a bit more as there were several moments of confusion with them. First when we arrived we asked for parking directions and were told there are 2 garages nearby. We just picked the closest one but upon arriving it said maximum 10 hours so we weren’t sure if we could park there overnight. We came back to the hotel to ask and the older lady at reception said no its okay they dont charge overnight here. Would have been nice to know at the beginning. At checkout my bill had a confusing addition and removal of the same charge and the girl presenting it me didnt understand what it was until I pointed out to her its a negative not plus. Would make sure your staff understands how to read the bill before showing the customer. Lastly, I was surprised they did not have a scale to weigh our luggage as most hotels do… this led to difficulties at the airport. For a boutique stay and especially if you are not driving to Arles this is a good option.
