Nous sommes venus manger à midi autant pour le cadre que pour la cuisine. Le temps étant menaçant, le Chef a pris la décision de nous faire manger à l’intérieur. Quelle déception ! Nous étions venus pour un repas champêtre un dimanche de fête des pères et nous voilà enfermé dans une salle avec la Clim sans proposition de faire autrement, de reporter notre venue ou de nous arranger quelque chose. “Si vous partez, je vous débite les arrhes que vous avez laissé”: voilà la seule proposition du Chef !
Alors certes le repas était bon (300 euros pour 2 tout de même), mais ce n’était pas ce que nous étions venus chercher.

One of the most wonderful dining experiences I’ve had. You are handed a tea upon arrival and invited to take a tour of the gardens where they grow some of the food you’re about to have. The outside table setting is dreamy, under a canopy of branches and you’re not seating too close to other parties. You’ve a choice of veg or omnivore menu and believe me, either or is just as good as the other one! The price range of the wines is ample and suits all pockets. The only remark would be they served an almond desert which wasn’t too flavourful…it was either missing honey or a pinch of salt.
