Great location and easy to walk into town. The host are extremely helpful and friendly with recommendations and directions! Clean rooms and Delicious breakfast! Recommend 2nd floor rooms. 3rd and 4th floors have many stairs and hard to carry heavy luggage. Location is hard to find if you are diving.

Silvio ist Gastgeber und Kunstsammler..... schön.
das Hotel ist in einer ruhigen Nebenstrasse gelegen. Gut zu erreichen und nahe dem Zentrum.
Zimmer sind super, schön, sauber und haben wunderbare Kunst und man fühlt sich wie zuhause.
Wir können den Ort nur empfehlen und werden eim nächsten Aufenthalt in Aix, dort sicher wieder loggieren.

This is a very nice, comfortable, small hotel with, I think, six guest rooms. The rooms are tastefully decorated, including with a lot of interesting art collected (hence the name) by the owner. It is very nicely located just off the rue d’Italie in the historic residential district just south of the Cours Mirabeau, which is the main street and best place for orienting yourself in Aix. Even the street-side rooms are quite quiet. The people who run the place are remarkable—warm, helpful, cheerful, knowledgeable and efficient. It’s kind of like staying with friends of good friends, but with more fun people than usually found in that situation.

My wife and I stayed only one night at this wonderful specialty inn. It is a renovated old home in the middle of Aix, very close to most every tourist site in town. The home is beautiful and our room was spacious, well appointed, and clean. The bathroom is new with outstanding shower. Breakfast which is ordered a la carte was very good. We had more of a continental breakfast but eggs, etc. are available. The property manager is Emma and she is wonderful and made our stay special. Her colleagues were all great as well. We parked in the nearby municipal garage as the property is in a restricted zone. The walk is 5 minutes so this might not be great if you have a lot of luggage or have limited mobility. I think you can arrange access to the location if that is the case. We hope to return for a more extended stay if we are lucky enough to do so.

Maison du Collectionneur was the perfect boutique hotel in Aix. Our gracious hosts did everything to make our stay extra special. The rooms were clean and generously sized. The location is ideal and walking distance to all major destinations in Aix. We highly recommend!
