The apartment was beautifully renovated, full of character and furnished with quality furniture and fittings. It was ideally located in the centre of Aix in the old part of town. We arrived during a heatwave so it was great to have airconditioning in good working order. ||Veronique was available to assist when needed and made some great restaurant recommendations. We will certainly return to Maison Dauphine next time we visit Aix.

We had a very nice family vacation. The host very very friendly, accommodating and responsive. Helped us book reservations etc. the room is very spacious, clean, tastefully decorated. The location is right at the center of the town. Highly recommend

Everything about our stay was excellent. The location is ideal, close to restaurants but on a quiet street. The accommodations are quite chic, but also very comfortable. And Veronique! She did so many things for us that made our stay outstanding. We have stayed at Maison Dauphine before, and continue to highly recommend it!

If you are looking for an authentic stay in the heart of Aix, this is the place. From the moment you step into the historic one-bedroom apartment (built, we're told, in 1655) and open its windows, you will immediately experience the sights and sounds of the city as would any resident. The apartments are perhaps 50 steps away from Aix's historic center, the Quatre-Dauphins fountain, and a two-minute walk from Cours Mirabeau. Our apartment was very comfortable with a modern kitchen -- including a much-welcomed clothes washer -- and the best shower. The support we received from host Véronique was impeccable.

The property houses three separate apartments, each with their own unique design. The property is located within five minutes from the Cours Mirabeau avenue and one of the major arteries of Aix-en-Provence. It is also less than a ten minute walk from the centre station. Our apartment was clean with all necessary amenities and more. We enjoyed the use of the washing machine! Veronique, our host, was kind and helpful. We recommend this property.

I love this place.

Veronique at the reception is a real French lady who is full of hospitality. We had a big problem the night before we checked in at Maison Dauphine. She was so kind to give us an early check-in, though we can't always expect this offer. It helped us a lot.

This building is a traditional French "Appartement." Very functional kitchen, living room, and bedroom. Bread, yogurt, peach juice, butter, and cheese are kindly delivered every day.

It is a nice location to access the center of the city. Veronique hears our interest and tells us where to go with a map where she writes down the necessary information.

We had a wonderful experience here!

die lage ist perfekt um die stadt zu erkunden. die stilvolle altbauwohnung besitzt ein schlafzimmer zum sehr ruhigen und grünen innenhof sowie eine geräumige wohnküche zur straße mit tollen ausblicken. wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt hier.

Excellent location , charming , private 2nd floor apartment , clean and well appointed ( some stairs if on this level ) Lovely and unexpected add-on with breakfast items provided. Carpark in private garage around the corner . Very friendly and accommodating host.

We stayed nine nights at Maison Dauphine and it was truly the perfect home in Aix. Our spacious and immaculate top floor apartment was so cozy and pleasant to come back to on the few rainy spring days we had. And since we were high up, we could leave our windows open for fresh air on sunny days. The bed was very comfortable and actually bigger than US queen sized beds; all the linens are high end; the living room has a new big cushy sofa, and the bathroom and kitchen are up to date, very clean, and well equipped. We so much appreciated the clothes washer since we travel light with only carry on luggage.||As others have said, the location can't be beat. The charming square with the famous dolphin fountain was very quiet, but all the best of Aix is a walkable few blocks away. Don't miss the wonderful food markets. Having a kitchen allows you to indulge in Provence's delectable produce. And the substantial breakfast delivered to our room each day was a real treat.||Veronique is just the best host ever. She was very responsive via email during the booking process, patiently rearranged our reservation when our dates had to change, and went FAR out of her way to assist us in a travel problem that otherwise might have ruined our trip. We are so grateful for all she did.||We travel internationally several times a year and this was one of our best hotel/apartment stays ever. I highly recommend Maison Dauphin.

Un séjour parfait à La Maison Dauphine ! L’endroit est impeccable, d’une propreté irréprochable. L’accueil chaleureux de Véronique rend l’expérience encore plus agréable. L’emplacement est idéal, en plein cœur d’Aix-en-Provence, avec tout à proximité : le musée Granet, l’hôtel de Caumont et bien d’autres trésors de la ville. Un véritable havre de paix au charme raffiné. Je recommande sans hésitation !

We stayed five nights at Maison Dauphine and we couldn’t have been happier. The apartment (top floor) was beautifully appointed, very clean and spacious. The breakfast setup was great. Veronique is a perfect host and cheerfully directed us by phone after we got pointed in the wrong direction by GPS. The apartments are just a short walk from the Cour Mirabeau and the rest of the historic center. I would 100% recommend to anyone coming to Aix-en-Provence.

Maison Dauphine is in an excellent location, accessible to the highlights of the center of Aix. The apartment was lovely, well appointed, with comfortable bedding and towels, and a pleasant space to relax. We especially appreciated the breakfast with fresh bread daily. Veronique is very helpful and efficient, a lovely hostess. We highly recommend this apartment.

Concernant notre séjour de deux nuits à la maison Dauphine,
Nous avons grandement apprécié l'accueil de Véronique, la décoration de notre appartement et de son équipement. La localisation est parfaite pour profiter pleinement d'Aix en Provence. Le simple et délicat petit déjeuner. Un atout important: un garage a 200 m de la Maison.
Toutefois Il manquait une table basse dans le salon, qui aurait donnée une touche encore plus complète à la déco. Et regrettons la gène générée une odeur désagréable dans la salle de bain.

A final, nous recommandons vivement la Maison Dauphine

Super séjour à la Maison Dauphine : accueil chaleureux de la part de la propriétaire, emplacement idéal en plein coeur de la ville tout en étant au calme absolu, appartement très bien décoré, petit déjeuner avec des produits de qualité... Superbe ! Nous avons passé 1 nuit dans ce bel hôtel qui a été décoré avec beaucoup de goût, les appartements sont spacieux et bien insonorisés. À l’arrivée Veronique, qui est très agréable, nous accueille et fait un check-in rapide et efficace. Le petit déjeuner en chambre est top. La localisation est centrale, on a tout fait à pied. Une pépite !

Staying at Maison Dauphine was a great experience. The building has been renovated creatively and beautifully. We loved having a clean, furnished, private, quiet apartment, a full kitchen, housekeeping, breakfast and parking in a secure garage. Perfect location in the heart of Aix but away from the crowded streets on the other side of the Cours Mirabeau. Veronique is friendly, welcoming and accommodating.

We were met warmly by Veronique, who showed us on the map things to do and also made dinner reservations for us for all 5 nights that were excellent. The apartment is lovely and very spacious. We loved the location, easily walked everywhere we wanted to go in the pedestrian area, to museums, etc
