Food is very good. Beautifully presented and all unique flavours. It felt like a good bridge between traditional and modern French style food. The menu is a little limited but we went as a large group and got the set menu with 4 courses. It included an amuse bouche, starter, fish course, meat course and dessert, all of which were fantastic and very good portion sizes. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. My only negative is that the restaurant is quite quiet, no obvious music playing and it is very hot inside in the evening.

Belle expérience chez Vintrépide

Les assiettes sont belles et les goûts sont de la partie, un vrai bonheur.
Le seul point négatif est le temps d’attente entre les plats, environ 20 minutes pour l’entrée et 30 minutes pour le plat.

Je recommande pour les amateurs de gastronomie et de vin évidemment !

Came here for dinner, had a great meal. Fantastic option for dinner if you’re staying in Aix. Wine list is great too

A nice little restaurant, authentic kitchen. If you go early then you may still get a table, else reservation is required. Menu changes often, per season. Staff is super friendly. Had the beef loin, tender and freshly prepared (no tourist trap situation here). My company had fish (Bar) which was nicely cooked. Quality of the food and cooking is quite good. Extensive wine list. House wine by the glass was the only little disappointment, not full bodied and oxidized. Overall mauch better than expected in this area of the city. Highly recommend and very much worth a visit.
