Jake is a gem of an intimate place. Jen, the owner and chef is a feisty, fun lady who really loves to feed people. Going to Jake is like going to her home for an evening…it’s cosy, intimate and delicious. And it’s closing so hurry up!

Неймовірне місце у самому серці Aix-en-Provence! Ми приходили всією сім’єю, і це був справжній гастрономічний досвід. Страви надзвичайно автентичні, з яскраво вираженим французьким шармом і смаком. Від крем-супу з гарбуза до пирога з качиним конфі – кожна страва дарувала справжнє задоволення.

Окремо хочемо відзначити власницю та шеф-кухарку – вона дуже привітна, уважна та доброзичлива. Атмосфера в кафе тепла й затишна, як у гостях у друзів.

Це місце ідеально підходить для бранчу або обіду, і ми без сумніву рекомендуємо його всім, хто опиниться в Aix-en-Provence. Обов’язково повернемось ще!

Muy buena comida!
Por 37€ comimos dos platos, un cafe, postre y una copa de vino. La atención muy cercana, la comida impecable, casera total y todo super acogedor.

Stopped in for lunch and ordered based on recommendations from the restaurant owner, who was lovely to talk to. She denies being a chef and instead shared with me that she loves to cook what she likes to eat and that eating in her restaurant is like eating in her home kitchen. Her food is beautiful and pays tribute to local ingredients and her favorite foods from France and Italy. She is creative and thoughtful with her cooking and I am so happy I got to experience this restaurant. She also made me a special coffee brew that she had been experimenting with that had interesting and complex flavors due to fermentation. Highly recommend coming here to eat!!

A true gem. What incredible artistry of home cooking and love of ingredients. If I could eat here everyday I would be a happy soul. The owner and Chef with her assistant Stef were so kind and helpful, creating a convivial and cozy atmosphere.

Having lunch at Jake felt very much like chilling at the home of a close friend. The chef/owner was so welcoming and kind, the vibes were cosy, and the food was probably the best that we had in our entire Aix trip. Everything was fresh, well made and comforting to eat - we tried the burrata and risotto and loved them both. Thank you so much for cooking for us!

Run don’t walk to enjoy Jennifer ‘s cooking an absolutely adorable ambience. Place was magical the food delicious the wine recommendation fabulous and Jennifer was a total delight.

This is a small woman-owned restaurant with INCREDIBLE dishes! We reserved the Sunday brunch, and every plate we had was delectable. Yummy coffee as well, lovely and local atmosphere inside. Best meal we had during our weekend in AIX, and look forward to returning the next time we are there for dinner small plates and wine!

Un lieu unique à Aix, pour un café de spécialité, un repas sur le pouce, ou des petits plats plus élaborés, toujours avec d'excellents produits. Une clientèle de "réguliers" pour une ambiance conviviale typique des endroits où il fait bon passer un moment, mais les voyageurs sont parfaitement accueillis par Jennifer (multilingue) !
