I was then told that all dishes, including vegetarian ones, are prepared with pork fat, and was abruptly advised to “go up the street where someone else will serve you.”
This interaction left a lasting impression — not because of the menu limitations, which are absolutely the restaurant’s choice — but because of the immediate assumptions made about me based solely on my appearance. I felt not just unwelcome, but prejudged and dismissed, as if my presence was inconvenient.
After speaking with others from my community, I’ve learned that this experience is not unique. There seems to be a pattern of behavior that makes those who are visibly religious, particularly women who wear a headscarf, feel out of place.
To be clear: this is not a space that feels inclusive — neither for Muslims, nor for those seeking vegetarian options, nor for individuals who simply expect to be received with basic respect.
Aucune alternative proposée, aucun sens de l’accueil ni de professionnalisme. Dommage.

Un vrai voyage culinaire au Liban !
J’ai découvert Aux Délices du Liban un peu par hasard, et c’est une belle surprise ! L’accueil est chaleureux, le personnel est attentif sans être envahissant, et l’ambiance du restaurant est conviviale.
Côté cuisine, c’est un sans-faute : les mezzés sont frais et savoureux (mention spéciale pour le houmous ), les grillades parfaitement assaisonnées, et les desserts comme la baklava ou le mouhalabieh sont à tomber. On sent que tout est fait maison, avec des produits de qualité.
Une adresse à garder précieusement pour un bon repas libanais authentique. J’y retournerai sans hésiter
