I don’t often leave reviews but felt compelled to leave one today! Villa Franca is under new ownership and is an incredible new addition to the neighborhood, just two weeks old and already raising the standard. The food bursts with flavour, especially the bone marrow, which was so good we’re coming back for seconds before we leave. Every dish was delicious, made with fresh, local ingredients you can truly taste and appreciate—something that really sets this place apart. The wine list was excellent, and the owner was welcoming, knowledgeable, and attentive. Compliments to the chef for such thoughtful, flavour-packed cooking. Don’t leave without trying the chocolate mousse—absolutely fantastic.

We had the Carpaccio de crevettes, poulet croustillant, and l’Anchoïade de Fred – all very tasty and nicely presented. The wine was excellent, and the service friendly and attentive. Relaxed atmosphere. Would be happy to come back.

This has been our best meal in France so far. The food was outstanding .. the entrecôte and the crispy chicken were perfect as were the salads and devilled eggs! We sat outside and it was busy with people walking by, but this added to the experience. The service was amazing and the owner, Chris , was wonderful to us, as was the server. Chris even texted us later to suggest a restaurant for the next part of our travel, when we leave Villefranche! We will definitely be back if we return to Villefranche!

This was our best meal in France, without a doubt. The food was fresh and delicious (bone marrow, burrata with tomatoes and peaches, entrecôte, crispy chicken, straciatella, etc) and so much care was put into each dish. Our waiter and the owner, who we chatted with, were friendly and welcoming. It was wonderful to step away from the pizza and brasseries we have been going to and expand our kids’ palettes!

Une nouvelle adresse qui va devenir une reference sur le secteur a n'en pas douter. Une cuisine bistronomique de haut niveau qui fait la part belle aux produits de la mer. Des belles matieres premieres au service d'une cuisine gourmande et pleine de saveurs. A ne pas rater.

Decided to try food away from the sea front and very pleased we did. Friendly staff and excellent food. Octopuss tentacles and Tuna Crudo were excellent, as were the mains. Highly recommended.

We stumbled upon Pelagos after dinner time hours had ended for every restaurant in the town. The owner was at the bar and nice enough to take us in even though closing time was already passed. He was so kind and have his suggestions of what to order which we listened too and it was absolutely delicious! The octopus was sooo yummy and fresh and the risotto as well. I highly recommend trying this gem. Thank you for having us!

Nous avons découvert par hasard ce restaurant en flânant dans le vieux Villefranche. C'est très simple, 3 entrées & 3 plats au choix mais les saveurs sont dignes d'un "macaronné". Les prix sont tout doux, le serveur efficace et sympathique. Le jeune chef nous a indiqué que, prochainement il allait lancer un plat du jour. Je crois que nous allons y retourner...
