What fabulous French cuisine, the food quality was to a high standard and good choices to pick from the menu. For our main course we had the grilled Tuna steak (melt in your mouth) and the Deer stew (exquisitely French in its richness and tenderness) all well presented with lovely accompaniments. The service was efficient and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting among the French diners. Highly recommend.

Heerlijk gegeten buiten op het terras onder de bomen. Dagmenu voor en hoofdgerecht voor 23 euro en het was buitengewoon lekker en meer dan genoeg voor een grote eter. Echt een aanrader.

We were staying in the square itself for a few days, and my friend recommended the restaurant as the owner had stayed in her flat for a while and had done it up. She had got on well with him. It was lunch time, warm and already quite busy, I asked the owner if there was a free table. He was rude and gave me a nasty look because I had forgotten to say 'bonjour' first, which he reminded me by saying crossly and loudly 'bonjour' before answering my question. We were both feeling quite uncomfortable and were pondering whether to go elsewhere, but as it was conveniently placed, we stayed. We ordered the salade de chevre chaud, which was ok, but marred but the coldness and unfriendliness of the owner. We wanted to have dinner there one evening, but decided against it.
