TIARA MIRAMAR BEACH HÔTEL & SPA ^{* * * * *}

Un séjour inoubliable en famille !
Nous avons passé quelques jours merveilleux dans cet hôtel avec mon mari et notre bébé, et tout était absolument parfait. La vue sur la mer est à couper le souffle, la piscine magnifique, la chambre spacieuse, propre et décorée avec goût, et l’ensemble du lieu est tout simplement paradisiaque. Un vrai havre de paix où même notre bébé s’est parfaitement reposé… c’est dire ! ????
Mais ce qui a rendu notre séjour encore plus exceptionnel, c’est l’incroyable gentillesse et l’attention du personnel. Toujours souriants, disponibles, bienveillants, ils ont vraiment été aux petits soins pour nous, et nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison (en mieux !). Nous avons trouvé notre endroit coup de cœur en Côte d’Azur, et c’est certain : nous reviendrons sans hésiter. Merci pour ces moments magiques

Although the hotel was lovely, and the staff (most of them) were professional , we actually had a VERY upsetting experience at this property and because of this I would have to recommend to others that they NEVER take the risk of booking the Tiara Miramar. The owner uses this as his personal private club and could care less about the enjoyment of the paying customers who support his property.| We had booked our reservation at the Miramar 9 months prior to arrival and paid the deposit of one night’s stay guaranteeing our reservation. To our absolute shock, about 30 days before our arrival, we were informed that they had just booked a private event for the entire Miramar hotel and therefore had to cancel our reservation!!!| (How does this happen—how do you unsell a room that we had booked, paid for, etc.? I get that a big event is a lucrative piece of business for them, but how can they do this in good conscience? What good was our deposit in that case? Very inconsiderate. Very unprofessional. Terrible management practices. Shocking!)| They ultimately offered us a room at their sister hotel with a room upgrade. Naively, we accepted, and the room was very nice. However, the overall hotel experience was a downgrade from the Miramar, lacking in comparable faciliities. Unlike the Miramar, it was not waterfront so ocean swimming was not an option; the pool was very small so we were unable to sit by the pool as there was room for only 4 couples; there was no bar-- you had to order wine from room service as the only option; the MIramar had live music, a spa, and other amenities that the sister hotel did not. | Furthermore, adding to our shock and dismany, when we checked in for our two-day stay, we were informed that the pools at BOTH properties would be shut down the second day for this private event! They didn't even bother telling us that before hand. So our only option was to hang out in our room or take a long/expensive taxi ride into town. Unacceptable! (They did have one restaurant open with a prix fixe menu that night because the rest of the staff was busy with the private event).| On the morning of the second day, we went to the Miramar as we were told we could use their pool in the morning. We left at the appropriate "shut down" time, and waited for our taxi in the lobby. One of the women in the reception told us we could not wait in the lobby or even outside as the guests for the event were arriving. She hurried us off into the game room to "hide" us until we cold be whisked out of site. It was SO insulting. | We ultimately found out that the private event was that the OWNER's child was getting married. This is an IHG Hotel. Wait until they hear how the owner treated paying customers. I spoke to so many guests who were as upset as we were. It was a TERRIBLE stay and it left me feeling stressed out versus the relaxing experience we had hoped to have.| Don't go there!!!

C'est la 2eme fois que nous séjournons au Miramar Beach Hotel & Spa : tout est parfait, rien à redire. Merci pour ce très bon moment que nous avons passé en votre compagnie.
