Absolutely loved our stay at this little bijou of a hotel. It is such a charming place. The staff is very considerate and helpful but I would have to say Sylvie goes the extra mile, she is amazing and made our stay extra special. Would also recommend the breakfast to start your morning off.

Wunderschönes Hotel mit traumhafter Aussicht auf Saint-Paul-de-Vence – besonders abends einfach magisch! Das Frühstück war hervorragend, frisch und vielfältig. Das Personal war überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder!

Wir haben eine Woche in diesem wunderschönen, gemütlichen und familiären kleinen Hotel zugebracht. Die Zimmer sind hübsch - man kann den Fotos trauen - und sehr sauber und das Personal ist freundlich und aufmerksam, ein großes Danke an Sylvie (auch für die tollen Tipps zu Sehenswertem) und das
ganze Team.
Besonders erwähnenswert ist der phantastische Blick auf St. Paul de Vence, der nette Pool (selbst jetzt im Herbst noch beheizt und nutzbar) und das schöne Frühstück.
Parkplätze sind vorhanden und mit einem Auto sind viele schöne Orte in der Umgebung schnell erreicht.
Perfekt für einen romantischen Urlaub an der Cote de' Azur. Wir kommen wieder!

Wunderschön. Ein schönes altes Haus mit vielen kleinen Treppen drinnen und draußen. Zimmer im Landhaus-Stil mit Balkon oder Terrasse in den Garten. Ein kleiner Pool, zu klein zum Schimmen, eher zum Abkühlen im Sommer. Ein Whirlpool in einer ruhigen Ecke.
Das Beste ist die Lage. Zu Fuß nach Saint-Paul de Vence oder nach Colle Sur Loup, mit dem Auto in wenigen Minuten bis eine halbe Stunde nach Grasse, Tourrette-Sur-Loup und viele andere Dörfer der Provence durch eine malerische Landschaft.
Genau die richtige Mischung aus Refugium und toller Lage.

Dieses kleine Hotel ist ein Geheimtipp für Genießer. Der Service ist erstklassig, das gesamte Personal ist ausgesprochen nett und freundlich und bemüht, alle Wünsche zu erfüllen. |Das Frühstücksbuffet ausgezeichnet, besonders das Angebot an frischem, reifen (!) Obst ist ein Traum.

We stayed for about 5 nights at this very nice boutique hotel, which is located about a 5 minute drive from the historic town of St Paul de Vence. The hotel is located on a hill just across the valley from St Paul, which affords guests an extraordinary view of the old town. Rooms are traditionally furnished and very clean. The bathrooms have very large and luxurious marble sinks, which are convenient and beautiful. Hot and cold water temperatures in the shower can be difficult to control, but there is ample hot water and good water pressure. The pool is beautiful. The buffet-style breakfast is excellent and the dining room staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast can be enjoyed either in the dining room or on several tables situated on a veranda with extraordinary views to St Paul, to Nice and to the sea. Just a 15 minute drive to the Nice airport, this is a terrific and relaxing place to stay.

Nous avons adoré ! |Tout était parfait, l’emplacement de l’hôtel. La vue de notre chambre était merveilleuse le personnel aux petits soins. |On n’a jamais vu une chambre aussi bien accessoirisée, le luxe de pouvoir se faire conduire à Saint-Paul au bord d’une belle 2CV et que dire des petit déjeuner gourmands à souhait.|Merci merci merci bravo à tous

Con il soggiorno di settembre 2024 siamo alla terza o quarta prenotazione a La Grande Bastide. Dopo la prima volta nel 2001, ci fa sempre piacere tornare qua. Il personale è davvero molto gentile e premuroso. La struttura è accogliente e confortevole: c’è tutto quello che serve. Un’oasi di pace e tranquillità in un luogo davvero incantevole.

Uitstekend hotel, topligging, Zwitserse Gründlichkeit in het mooie Saint-Paul de Vence. Panoramisch uitzicht op het dorp. Leuke navette met 2 CV van 50 jaar oud. Dit is een hotel met een ziel waar we heel graag in september van hetzelfde jaar terugkomen.

Excellent hotel, great location, immaculate presentation, staff friendly and willing to assist as required. |Plenty of dining options nearby including the Old Town.|Pool facility with bar service and view to Old Town makes it easy to stay in or recover from handy day trips to Monaco, Nice or surrounding towns.

Really fantastic. A home away from home. Very, very clean and well taken care of. People nice and helpful. Magnificent view to St Paul de Vence. Really you cannot find any disadvantages. Very strategically located if you wish to drive around Cote d' Azur.

Just back from a fabulous stay in this gorgeous little hotel. All the staff are amazing (special thanks to Sylvie who is so accommodating). Lovely pool area which was so quiet we often had it to ourselves. We stayed in Suite 14 which was so spacious with excellent air conditioning and outdoor space. A perfect view of St Paul de Vence from this hotel. The gardens are immaculately kept. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Great hotel, great staff and great vibe. The hotell was even better then expected. Very nice staff who alwyas were attentive and available. They have a cute car that takes you in to the old city, wich was very nice. Walkable distance back in the evening when the weather was a little cooler. Lovely poolarea.

Nice small hotel. Feels like coming home. Very nice, romantic room, very good breakfast. Service is great, very nice people. Small, but very nice pool, with sunbeds, towels. Nice environment. Lots off things to do. I can anyone recommend this hotel.

Charming and friendly boutique hotel , staff very attentive , a special|Mention to Sylvie , who is wonderful.|We had room 6 and 10 |6 a sunny corner room with attractive covered terrace with views of the pool and countryside , room 10 , a bigger duplex , lots of space with small|Private garden area , but limited views . |You do hear a little road noise whilst by the pool , but it is background , light traffic|St Paul De Vence is a 2 minute drive , we had a car and made use of the underground car park when visiting the town , but the hotel have a charming Citroen 2CV to shuttle you ( until 8pm ) |Breakfast was a good buffet style . |We shall return , please give it a go , you won’t regret

Quarto super charmoso, cama gostosa (talvez um pouco macia demais para alguns. Mas eu gostei), café da manhã delicioso. Destaque para Sylvia que nos atendeu muito bem! |Fica a 2 km de Saint Paul de Vence. |Ponto negativo: não tem restaurante.

Wer kleine, charmante Hotels liebt, ist hier genau richtig. Mit viel Liebe zum Detail wird hier gearbeitet. Auch die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett, besonders Sylvie. Sie ist die Perle des Hotels. Das Hotel liegt gut für Sternfahrten - man benötigt aber ein Auto.

L’accoglienza è la premura di tutto il personale rendono il soggiorno unico e speciale. Ma mère et moi-même sommes venues passer 2 nuits à La Grande Bastide. Notre séjour a été tout simplement merveilleux ! Les propriétaires de l’établissement sont adorables et le personnel a été d’une grande gentillesse et de bon conseil pour nous suggérer des lieux à visiter dans les alentours et nous aider à réserver une très bonne table. La petite deux-chevaux qui sert de navette pour aller au village de Saint Paul de Vence était de toute beauté et a rajouté beaucoup de charme à notre promenade. Nous avons hâte de revenir et n’hésiterons pas à partager cette excellente adresse avec nos amis.

An amazing boutique hotel with stunning views outstanding service |We came for my husbands birthday with our daughter |The rooms were fabulous. We had a suite which was perfect our daughters room was ideal |The hotel offers a quirky transport solution into town. |Nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back

We stayed here for one night during a visit to the South of France. The hotel was very comfortable and the staff were absolutely excellent! We had a lovely room with a fantastic view of St Paul de Vence! The only issue is that it’s not in the town on a busy road about 5 mins by car and no places nearby to eat. There is a lovely CV car which will take you into St Paul de Vence. Walking might be possible but we were not sure if there was a safe route as there was no footpath! |The CV shuttle doesn’t operate after 8.00 p.m. so if you want to go to St Paul for dinner you either have to drive or get a taxi. The lovely lady on reception said that the restaurant would get us a taxi, which they did for 25 euros. |So once you get that sorted you are fine! It’s a lovely hotel in a beautiful place!

Sehr schönes, authentisches kleines Hotel. Schöne, geschmackvoll eingerichtete Zimmer. Wir hatten ein Chambre superieure mit schönem, geräumigen Bad und tollem Blick auf St. Paul De Vence.
Sehr reichhaltiges Frühstück, aufmerksames Personal.
Wunderschöner kleiner Garten mit gepflegtem, beheiztem Pool.
Schöne Aufenthaltsmöglichkeiten auf der Terrasse oder am Schwimmbad.
Ein Kleinod, sehr empfehlenswert.
Sehr reichhaltiges Frühstück, aufmerksames Personal.

Wir wollten uns nochmals herzlich bedanken für die wunderbare Zeit die wir bei Euch verbringen durften. Ihr habt hier einen charmanten, ruhigen und familiären Ort geschaffen der einzigartig ist für uns. Nicht viele Hotels an der Cote d'Azur können das bieten. Tolles Frühstück mit frischen Produkten, ruhige und geschmackvoll eingerichtete Zimmer und nicht zuletzt ein super Team. Wir kommen wieder, vielleicht aber schon sehr bald im Perigod oder in Adelboden...
