We stayed at Royal Riviera as part of a family vacation. We could not have been more impressed. Helpful, friendly service from staff at the front desk, pool, and beach. The property is absolutely beautiful. The room was amazing. Attention to detail was impressive. Also, we left a suitcase there by accident and they shipped it to the US! That’s how it’s done!

My wife and I stayed here last week for 2 nights. We were put in a room right next to the elevator which clearly needed maintenance and made an incredibly loud noise every time it moved and you could hear it loudly through the walls. We let the front desk know and they moved us to another room across the hall that was only marginally better. This is totally unacceptable for what they charge and they really need to fix their elevator! We sat by the pool and the beach and watched as others were offered drinks while we were just ignored multiple times. We also noticed the pool was very crowded and even met someone who was just there because they were friends with an employee (this is so unprofessional). You will feel like sardines packed in. Please also be beware that breakfast is 44 euro per person (very good food but exhorbitant). Also dont exchange any currency there at front desk because they charge a huge fee without warning. they may have a certificate to be a 5 star hotel...it most certainly did not feel like one, as they seemed to treat the guests who stay in the smaller (cheapest) rooms like second class citizens. It is a beautiful property but the interior decor is a bit tacky. We would definitely not stay here again.

It is in our culture to treat every guest the same way regardless of the type of room they have booked. How could the 150 employees, apart from the ones at the front desk know what category you are staying in ?
Summer has been very busy and temperature very high, so many guests have decided to stay by the pool or at the beach, however there is enough loungers and enough space to accommodate everyone. Access to pool is limited to residents and many guests became our friends after more than 20 years.
We do apologies that you felt that our beach or pool attendants did not pay enough attention to you.
Regarding our rates, all of them are available from our website and comparable to other 5-stars properties on the French Riviera.
We hope to welcome you again and offer a different experience, feel free to contact me, and I will personally take care of your reservation.

We would have given 5/5 but the food at Jasmin was mediocre and expensive and we were missed on room service one day which we didn’t appreciate. Having said that, you shouldn’t hesitate to stay here.
