Not good enough, I’ve dined at the Grand Hotel du Cap over the last 3 decades and although the food has always been exceptional, the service last night was not, we had to ask the waiter repeatedly to get our aperitifs and by the time they were served we were shown to our table, usually the restaurant provides a small table for the ladies hand bags, however on this occasion there was none, trying to get the attention of the staff proved to be difficult, on previous visits, you only had to glance over your shoulder and someone would offer to be of service, when we asked for the bill, we had to wait too long, although the Grand Hotel has high standards, you should never keep your customer waiting to give you profit and the customer should never have to queue to pay, and we felt that this very much was the case much to our frustration, we will be back but please get the service in La Veranda back to what it used to be, the Grand Hotel du Cap is an icon in the hotel world, and everything about it should be both immaculate and perfect but on this occasion it was not, come on GHDC, please improve and get it right!

a perfect restaurant for both, lunch and dinner.
I always come back with pleasure. perfect services, excellent food, beautiful view, indescribable location.
the place is by far number 1 on the cote d'azur.

Beautiful restaurant, seated under trees and overlooking gardens. Exquisite meals, comprehensive wine list, crafted cocktails and attentive service from all the Hotel staff. A singer and saxophonist added to the atmosphere of the summer night.
