Wonderful hotel, excellent location, close to beach, old town, top restaurants and shopping. Rooftop pool and bar are awesome. Great service and very accommodating.

Probably close to being a 3-star hotel than a 5-star. If it weren’t for the great location and the pool, I’m sure it would have had 3 stars. I’m quite disappointed, knowing it is a 4-star hotel, as I’m used to them being a higher standard. The wall at the bathtub is a bit old, dirty or mouldy. I’m not sure, but it doesn’t look good. And the shampoo dispensers don’t work. They were quite slow at making room and cleaning up empty tables for new guests in the breakfast area, and 9€ for a soda by the pool area seems a bit much - Coming from Copenhagen, one of the most expensive cities in Europe, that says a lot. Cocktails prices seem fair, but sodas should be less expensive.
There were no slippers in our room, although the cleaning staff have them on their wagons.
It’s not a bad hotel, although my rating might suggest it. The location is good, it’s okay quality - but seems more like a 3-star hotel.

Our stay at the Grand Hotel Aston in Nice was a bit of a mixed experience. The room itself was okay, but we didn’t have a proper shower—just a handheld shower head—and the water was extremely cold, which made things uncomfortable. The rooftop, however, was beautiful with amazing scenery and definitely the highlight of our stay. We weren’t too impressed with the breakfast service. It was very self-serve, and you had to make your own coffee, boil your own eggs, and even cook your own pancakes. It didn’t feel very relaxing, especially first thing in the morning.

Niveau chambre, c'est pas digne d'un 4⭐....
Pas de porte bagage, lumière qui ce cassé la geulle, pas de cache vollets, clim réglé en extrême froid, a peine un 26 dans la chambre...
Salle de bain par en lambeaux....

C'est dommage

Nous avons séjourné une première fois il y a 6 mois et à la remise des clés quelle surprise nous avons eu de constater qu’il y avait déjà quelqu’un dans notre chambre… bon a priori ces choses là arrivent régulièrement puisque pour notre mariage nous avons séjourné encore une fois dans cet hôtel (+ 2 chambres pour nos témoins) et la situation s’est reproduite ! Mais pire, jour de mon mariage, on nous attribue une chambre sans clim (période de canicule) c’était un enfer, nous avons dû attendre 24h avant de pouvoir changer de chambre et encore il a fallu que nous insistions, seul dédommagement 2 bouteilles d’eau offertes, je n’ai pas vécu une bonne expérience pour un jour qui devait être spécial ! Je suis très déçue et nous ne reviendrons plus séjourner dans cet hôtel malgré l’amabilité du personnel, l’hôtel n’est pas au niveau de ce qu’il prétend et encore moins du prix
