When we checked in the front desk, agent was very helpful and very informative. Unfortunately, it went down from there. We ended up needing to stay an additional night and when we ask the front desk, we were told they could not extend our stay that we would have to go online and figure out how to get another reservation, which seemed ridiculous. The front desk agent was not helpful at all with the process and basically told us he didn’t have access to do anything. Our first room was very nice and spacious . We had a gorgeous balcony which I would’ve loved to have kept however since I had to go online and rebook for the last night, we had to move rooms and we ended up on the fifth floor with just a sliver of a outdoor area. The view was amazing. There was an Iron Man event going on during our stay so the road ended up being blocked off, which was not a big deal. We were made aware of it when we checked in so that wasn’t a big deal however, it’s something that you should check into before you make a reservation because they do tend to have a lot of events directly in front of the hotel from what I understand.|I would stay there again, however I would be very particular about the type of room I picked .

We had a fantastic stay at Le Méridien Nice, and what truly made it memorable was the exceptional service from the team—especially Goar from housekeeping and Camila at the front desk.||Goar went above and beyond every single day. Our room was spotless and perfectly arranged, and her warm smile and attention to detail made us feel right at home. It’s rare to encounter someone so dedicated and thoughtful—she even left little touches that brightened our day.||Camila at the front desk was equally outstanding. From the moment we checked in, she was welcoming, professional, and incredibly helpful. Whether it was local recommendations, handling requests with a smile, or making us feel genuinely valued as guests, she made a big difference in our overall experience.||The breakfast was another highlight—fresh, well-presented, and with a wide variety of options to start the day right. Enjoying it with a view of the Mediterranean was a real treat.||The hotel itself boasts a stunning location with breathtaking sea views, and the newly renovated rooms are modern and comfortable. But it’s really the people—like Goar and Camila—who elevate the experience from good to exceptional.||Highly recommend staying here if you’re in Nice!

Not the quality of service or accommodation you would expect. We ended up staying because our flights home got cancelled due to air traffic disruption so had to pay €600 per night. Expected much better quality for this price. Location of this hotel is great but the classic rooms are very basic, it’s like staying in an Ibis. We were put in a room (979) that had renovation works ongoing from 9am in the morning, drilling on the wall and strong smell of paint. Coffee cup in the room had a big chip in the handle. I had work calls to do which were impossible with the noise and poor WiFi reception. After 2 conversations with reception we finally got moved with a begrudging apology. No offer of compensation or room upgrade for the inconvenience we had experienced. Shocking service. The prior 2 nights we had been in the Radisson blu - this hotel was much nicer, better quality rooms and much better service. |This hotel feels very dated and hugely overpriced for the quality of rooms and service. If we could move out and go somewhere else tonight we would.

Extremely Disappointed with the Lack of Response

I recently stayed at Le Méridien Nice and unfortunately left behind a pair of shoes in the room. Since then, we’ve been trying to contact the hotel multiple times — via phone and email — but there has been absolutely no response.

It’s very disappointing that a hotel of this standard does not have a proper lost and found process or even the courtesy to reply to a guest’s query. I expected much better service and basic accountability.

Hope the management sees this and takes some responsibility
