We stayed here in Niece for three nights. Location is just fine. Rooms are clean, mattresses are European style with twin mode style comfortable, If you like holding your spouse it will be a slight challenge to get used to the crevice. The showers are excellent. I personally did to like the attic rooms - we had one for one day but it nay work for others. The staff is very friendly and very accommodating and very kind- so appreciated!! The breakfast is very reasonable and I do recommend the continental style or more complete - it is your choice Euro 7 vs 12 at times of writing. The parking on site is highly limited and is generally not available. The parking in a public lots is at Euro 28/day currently. We do not generally have car on our holidays but due to mountain needs in later part of our holiday we had one. Unless you need to access the mountains hikes you do not need a car at all in Southern France.

Nice hotel, friendly staff and well located.
The buts: poorly designed bathroom, no ventilation. Uncomfortable bed, was too soft for us.

Generally not a good hotel, but even though lacking diversity breakfast and conditions of living the nice and hospitable staff make for the experience. Mind that rooms are pretty small.

Mycket litet rum med utsikt in mot grannhuset och gästerna i rummet mitt emot. Bedrövlig belysning och svårt att hitta info om t ex öppettider för frukost. Att dessutom ta betalt för att förvara väskor före och efter incheckning är väldigt märkligt (3 euro per väska!), särskilt som det står i informationen på hemsidan att väskförvaring är gratis dygnet runt. Väskorna ställs dessutom på toaletten vid receptionen! Frukosten var rikligt tilltagen, men fylldes inte på vartefter mat tog slut. Rummen var välstädade och bemötandet trevligt.

Disgusting place, they dont aid in the modifications or cancellations of the reservations, when you contact them they say they will send you the bill through mail and then never actually do it.

If you dont want to lose your money, stay aways from this sc..um.

Fantastic location and value for money. The rooms are neat, we’ll decorated and HUGE by French standards. The bathrooms are generous and well appointed. Beds are comfortable and the air conditioning works very well. The team were friendly and helpful. Overall Lea Cigales is a great mid range hotel that is walking distance to everything you need in Nice.

Surprised this is 3 star rates. WiFi doesn’t work and staff doesn’t know how to connect. Had to change hotels to be able to access WiFi.

Cela fait plusieurs années que je m'arrête à l'hôtel les Cigales et c'est toujours un moment agréable. L' accueil est chaleureux et les chambres sobres et pratiques. L' hôtel est à taille humaine et son emplacement est idéal pour visiter la ville. Il n'est pas difficile de se garer dans le quartier et l' hôtel dispose d'un ascenseur. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et les tarifs en basse et moyenne saison sont corrects.
