Service was professional and prompt. Check-in and check-out was efficient and quick.
The location is perfect. It's about a 2 minute walk from the tram. Plenty of dining options nearby as well. Caveat though is that it is near some bars so it can be quite noisy.
The only issue we had was that the room can get on the warmer side. Not enough to be really uncomfortable but warm enough to be of note. Maintenance replaced something with the AC but it could've been that the thermostat had issues.
Overall, wouldn't mind staying here again if with a small group. 4.5 stars.
Love the kitchenette and washing machine cum dryer in the room.
Would be perfect if they add long bars for hanging towels in the bathroom apart from the heater rack.
Will definitely love to stay in the hotel again.
We really loved having a washer/dryer combo, it was amazing to be able to do laundry!! We did have to google a bit to find the manual to be able to use the washer, it was super confusing even with the guide they provided but once we figured it out it was all good! Definitely be sure to google the manual. Unfortunately the detergent they provided was not color safe so our white clothes turned blue even though we followed instructions but it happens.
We would definitely stay here again. They even gave us a bottle of champagne for our honeymoon! :)
Unsere Fenster waren zum Place de la Justice, was sehr schön war, aber unglaublich laut, die ganze Nacht durch. Es feiern Menschen, die Müllabfuhr fährt, LKWs liefern im Morgengrauen an, das muss man wissen. Das Personal an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich. Jedoch am Abreisetag wurde uns eine Rechnung präsentiert mit einer Summe die das Doppelte war, als das was bei der Reservierung bestätigt worden war. Nach kurzer Diskussion entschuldigte sich die Dame an der Rezeption und korrigierte den Fehler. Jedoch sind wir uns nicht sicher, ob dies Absicht gewesen war!
Pros:
-Location is excellent
-Love the electronic window shades
-Nice shower with ample lighting
-Nice reception staff
Cons:
-Housekeeping tried to force this way into my room at 4:45am which was terrifying. They “claim” I had my sign turned on the wrong side (which I did NOT) but why does it also take 2 men trying to break in the room and no one would respond when I asked them in English and French who it was. That’s suspect to me.
-Room had tons of gnats flying around
-Hair was already in my sheets before laying down.
-Don’t sleep in the loft if you’re taller than 5ft/1.5M
Front desk has otherwise been very helpful and friendly.
No amenities are available, which in this price range is not competitive with a normal chain, such as Le Meridian, etc.
