Le Gambetta, c'est une institution à Nice. On y mange depuis plus de 50 ans. Service rapide pour une offre très large: fruits de mer d'abord, mais plats du terroir aussi. Le personnel est très réactif. On est vite servi et c'est relativement copieux et bon. Ce n'est pas la grande gastronomie mais le rapport qualité prix est excellent.

I bought a dozen oysters (not opened ) from the take out counter outside . We opened the oysters that evening, the first oyster had a live insect inside,we opened the second- another live insect. The next morning I returned to the restaurant with a video of the bugs ( 26 euros for 12). The gentleman said this is normal to have bugs ???? I asked for even a token refund - no way. He thinks bugs are normal. DO NOT order take away oysters at this restaurant !!!!
