une adresse incontournable sur Nice tenue par un vrai restaurateur.. vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés et la bouche ouverte ;)

The restaurant was not busy. We opted to sit inside, having been given the choice by the waiter. As the dining room was totally empty, we asked to sit at a round table laid for 4 by the window. This request was refused and so my 6'6" son and I were directed to a small table for 2, one with view of the port and the other with view of the toilet door. When I pulled over an extra chair for my coat, hat and handbag, the waiter placed a wine bucket stand beside us and told me to put it all in/on that. At this point, I was ready to get up and walk out, but, as it was getting late and we were hungry, I swallowed my irritation. We ordered two courses each. Our request to either order desert after our main course or, if we did order it in advance, and didn't have the room to consume it, whether we could take a warm chocolate cake home, was denied.
The Chef/owner was polite and very friendly. The menu was pricey and the food was acceptable; but after the behaviour of the wait-staff, we would be reluctant to go there again.

La cuisine est exceptionnelle. Les prix sont tout à fait en adéquation avec la qualité des produits et la quantité des portions. Tout le personnel est souriant, aimable, très professionnel, avec la pointe d'humour, comme il faut. Le service est rapide et efficace.
Merci au chef pour sa cuisine inventive et savoureuse. Il aime son métier et ça se ressent.
Belle ambiance en salle : on sent que les convives sont là pour se faire plaisir, sans chichis, en toute convivialité.
Merci pour ce moment inoubliable. Juste après avoir couru les 10km de la Prom', nous avons bien rechargé nos batteries !!

Je suis venue en octobre et j’ai vraiment aimé les plats. Très savoureux !
Par contre petit bémol pour le service, le serveur n’est pas très avenant, il fallait courir derrière lui pour lui attirer l’attention et qu’il vienne à notre table.
Mais je reviendrai avec grand plaisir car la cuisine est très bonne et tout était frais !

Entré saumon fumé ( MAISON) caviar et poireaux une pépite !!
