Pasta was awesome, as well as espresso. Very nice place with very nice stuff. Highly recommended!

Good food, weirdly inattentive service:
Had to walk to the front counter to ask for the menus 10-15 minutes after being seated.
Only got the wine menu even later to the table.
Had to ask directly for the complimentary bread after the starter was brought; noticed the table next to us did not.
An unfortunately, and unnecessarily, sour experience.
I note that other reviews seem more positive- so perhaps a coin flip on the service level.

Cannot recommend Epiro enough! This is truly a hidden gem in Nice outside the chaos of the overly touristy areas. If you are looking for one of the best homemade pasta meals in Nice this is the spot! Our server was extremely kind and answered all my questions about my allergies and dietary restrictions due to being pregnant. I had the Cacio e Pepe and it was truly as good as ones I have had in Italy! The chef makes all the pasta fresh and the desert was delicious. My husband also enjoyed the natural wines and his bolognese!

Excellente cuisine et ambiance très attrayante avec un petit côté fawlty towers. Il est dommage que le patron insiste pour qu’on boive le très douteux vin minéral "pepin" tandis que les amis obtiennent d'autres vins et bières qui sont en rupture de stock pour l'autre clientèle. A recommander donc vivement.
The pasta and the local ginger lemonade were lovely. Thank you to the waitress, Evine, for her kindness and for helping us out choosing.
